Itinerary
Start your day with early morning pickup from your Agra hotel.
Head to the Taj Mahal to see the sun rise over the World Heritage Site that was built in the 1600s by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the tribute to the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Return to your hotel for breakfast, then visit the second World Heritage Site of the day, the Agra Fort. The imposing red sandstone fort was built by emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, with a design that combines both Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles.
Take a break for lunch at an air-conditioned restaurant, then depart the city for the 1-hour drive to Fatehpur Sikri, the third World Heritage Site that you visit on the tour. The elegant walled 16th-century city's buildings remain largely intact to this day, and have been described as 'the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town,' Fatehpur Sikri was built in the late 16th century and was abandoned after only 14 years.
Return to Agra and wrap up your tour by shopping for marble and soft stone inlay handicrafts, in addition to other crafts. At the end of the day, your guide returns you to your hotel or to the train station in Agra.

Way Way overpriced !!! you can get way cheaper directly in India $300 for 3 persons DO NOT BOOK via Viator . Positive : Guide was absolutely wonderful knowledgeable and friendly at first and we are thankful for it. However became rushed and without interest in providing information when we reach the fort as we advised him that we need to go back at 4.30 PM to hotel...
Lunch was awful did not get the 5 stars menu as advised Food is really basic + you need to pay for drinks even water and this is super expensive a coffee will cost you about $ 3.00 very disappointing. I will never booked again via Viator super expensive for the service provided

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are pleased to hear that you found your guide knowledgeable and friendly, we are very sorry that the overall experience did not meet your expectations.
We would, however, like to respectfully clarify a few points so future travelers have accurate information:
1. About the tour price:
The rate you booked on Viator includes several elements such as:
• Private licensed guide
• Professional driver
• Sunrise Taj Mahal visit
• All monument entrance fees (which are significantly higher for foreign nationals)
• AC vehicle with fuel, parking & taxes
• Buffet lunch at a reputable restaurant
• Coordination, planning & customer support
• Viator’s service fees and traveler protection
Comparing this to informal street pricing or unlicensed local sellers in India (who do not provide inclusions, insurance, safety standards, or quality guarantees) can be misleading. We never compromise on safety, comfort, or service, and this reflects in the official tour cost.
2. About the guide feeling rushed:
Your itinerary was shortened only after you informed the guide that you needed to return to the hotel by 4:30 PM, which reduced the available sightseeing time. We apologize if this made you feel rushed — our intention was only to respect your request and ensure you reached your hotel on time.
3. About the lunch experience:
We are disappointed to hear that the lunch did not meet your expectations. The restaurant provides a high-quality buffet, but drinks are not included as per Viator’s published itinerary. We will share your comments with the restaurant to ensure improvements.
Thank you again for your comments. We remain committed to providing professional, safe, and high-quality travel experiences for all our guests.
Warm regards,
Shakul Garg

The Taj Mahal was even more amazing than we imagined! Our tour guide, Vijay, was great and very knowledgeable about the history of the different sites (and best picture spots!).
PSA to anyone booking this tour: there are 3 different local business shops that were unplanned. Although it was cool to see the artisan processes, there is INTENSE pressure to buy from these places and it was very awkward as we weren’t prepared to negotiate or spend thousands of dollars on hand crafted carpets, marble work, or embroidery work. If we had known this up front the trip would’ve been 5 star, but the surprise of it and frustration of being pressured to buy expensive items was off putting.

The Sunrise Taj Mahal, Agra Fort tour was more than we expected. While there was plenty of fog when arrived we still enjoyed and appreciated the spectacular view of the Taj Mahal at 6:30am. It was great that at that time of the morning we didn’t have a huge crowd.
We were able to get great photos. I do regret it wasn’t perfectly clear but still there was something special about seeing this great work of art for the first time with the mist.
We stayed a couple of hours and as our tour guide told us the fog did burn off. Of course as it burned off the crowd grew larger. The Taj Mahal is even more spectacular as the sun hits the building. The combination Ot the white marble and the many stones in laid in the marble mark for a beautiful sparkling effect.
Next we visited Agra Fort. A very large and beautiful fort . Learned a lot about the history of India. Well worth seeing.
Finally, we chose not to visit the last site (an hour drive there and back and at least and tour would have meant a full 12 hour day.
Instead our Guide took us to a mausoleum sometimes called “Little Taj”). little Taj was very interesting and we enjoyed seeing it.
All in all a great day with a great guide and driver.

I absolutely loved everything about this tour, especially the guide Mahesh, and the driver KK. Mahesh is so knowledgeable about India’s history, and KK, one of the best drivers we’ve had in the country. We had great conversations with both of them, whom are so friendly and respectful. Just AMAZING!

Loved this early AM access and tour guide was great.

This tour overall was really good, my guide Vinnet Goyal was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and funny, we had a great time together visiting the Taj and Agra Fort. I would recommend him as a guide to any family or friends. My only comment would be about our trip to the marble carving company, where I was able to see how the marble and precious stones are carved. This is a cool portion of the tour and would recommend seeing the process. Their finished products are very beautiful. However, the prices I encountered were 300-500 above what they should have been. I understand that this is common and I wasn't forced to make any purchases whatsoever, but coming from someone that travels very often I didn't appreciate it. If I were on a time constraint it would have bothered me as it can hinder your ability to see another sight in Agra. This is not a complaint but more of a recommendation to others hoping to make the same trip. As previous mentioned, Vineet Goyal was a great guide and I would highly recommend him if you hope to see the Taj and Agra Fort.

I have been traveling for business in India only had a weekend to explore Agra and Delhi, given that I wanted to get the most out of my time I decided to take the train into Agra Friday night and I booked the 'Sunrise Taj Mahal and Agra city tour' through Pacific Classic Tours India. I am so glad that I did! Our guide, Rishi Pal, was incredible, he was waiting on time for us at 6 am ready to walk us to the Taj from our hotel and fill our heads with more knowledge than you would think one person could possibly contain, a trend that never ceased through the whole day. Rishi kept us laughing all morning and helped us get all the photos necessary to keep our family and friends jealous back home. He always seemed to find beautiful and quiet spots to walk us through the history of each of the monuments we visited during the day, despite the nearly overwhelming weekend crowds. Speaking of crowds Rishi knew all of the routes through each monument ensuring the least traffic and with him long queues seemed to just disappear.
The shopping portion of the day was accompanied by a few persistent vendors and admittedly I did make a few purchases but I do not regret any of them. I really appreciated getting to see how these fine crafts were produced. And it was fun haggling the prices!
We had an earlier train to catch on our way back to Delhi that we were a little nervous about but Rishi made sure we didn't have to stress about it a single moment, he even squeezed the sunset from the Moonlight Gardens which we though we would have to skip. At the end of the day he accompanied us right to the train car to ensure a smooth departure.
If you only have short period of time to get the most from Agra I would absolutely recommend taking this tour, you will not be disappointed!

Our guide, Mr. Mahesh, was superb. There was not a single questions he couldn't answer for us and he spoke very good English. Our driver for the day, Bipin, was also the best driver we had during our entire trip to India. I highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very flexible and asked us before we did anything if we needed a break, more water, or wanted to skip something we weren't particularly interested in. He also gave us plenty of time at each stop to explore the grounds ourselves. The guide and driver were both always on time, courteous, and knowledgable. The only thing that could have made this better was cooler weather!

Mahesh was an amazing tour guide - he has an endless wealth of knowledge and goes above and beyond to ensure you're enjoying the tour. He is also an amazing photographer - my travel buddy and I have the best pictures and it's all thanks to Mahesh! Incredible tour - not a single complaint.

It was really a nice experience. Our tour guide Mr. Mahesh made us feel very comfortable. He was very informative and we felt like we went back into history. We learnt many new and amazing facts in this tours. Especially Taj mahal, Agra fort and marble art factory was very mesmerizing.

The visit was exceptional and worth every minute, I spent. The guide, Mahesh, was very well prepaired and could answer all my questions regarding Indian and related history. It was an absolute, incredibly good experience.

Besides visiting this most remarkable sight, our guide was so very helpful and professional. His grasp of the sights and his eagerness to make it unforgettable for us was over the top. He was a most kind and thoughtful guide. He was most patient with our stops for pictures, and that was not easy. Most professional and knowledgeable guide. Would sign up again for his tour, in a heart beat. Highly recommend.
