very pleasant car ride

had a very pleasant car ride with shahid to the elephant and bear rescues. shahid was very nice and patient while we enjoyed the sites.

An emotional and amazing experience

We were collected promptly from our hotel by a friendly driver and taken by taxi to the Wildlife SOS Centre for Elephants. We were each given a big bottle of water, and the taxi was air conditioned - both were much appreciated. The tour starts with the background of the centre and information about elephants in captivity. The videos are hard to watch, but the guide warns you beforehand if you would like to look away. We learned so much about these amazing creatures and then had a tour of their enclosures to learn about each elephant and its rehabilitation and care. The gift centre is lovely, with all proceeds going towards the care of the animals. I would recommend this trip to anyone, especially if they wish to know more about elephant rescue and see them up close.

Wonderful experience if you love animals and are looking for an ethical sanctuary. Be prepared to cry because they'll show you an emotional video about animal cruelty. The driver was very nice and kind. Thank you.

Fantastic eye opening experience - a must see if visiting Agra

Visiting wildlife SOS was such a wonderful experience - seeing how well looked after these magical animals are, all of whom have had a very hard life, was very special. Tourists visiting India should not encourage or promote riding, painting or any other activities similar. I would encourage everyone visiting Agra to see the work Wildlife SOS are doing to help these beautiful creatures from a safe and respectful distance.

Elephants and a wonderful driver too!

The elephant conservation center was very interesting and enlightening. The people working there gave us a wonderful tour and clearly love the animals and are passionate about their work. One of the highlights, for us, was not even at the conservation center but in the driver, Shiv, who took us there and back! He was interesting and very knowledgeable; it would be nice to go back and hire him for a whole day of sightseeing!

A very informative experience! Our guide was very prepared and you could see how much him and the rest of the staff care for the elephants. These animals have had an hard life and it's very moving to see them finally well treated. It was hard to listen to their stories, full of abuse and violence, but it's important to be aware.
