Whilst this was billed as The Dark Side of Aberdeen, implying creepy tales of murder and crime over the centuries turned it was a pretty disappointing basic walk around one end of Union Street and a whole section about the harbour, oil industry and the Piper Alpha disaster.
Not what we were expecting and overall pretty thin on content when you consider how much Aberdeen has to offer.
The delivery method (app, inetgration with GPS for geo-located content) was great, simple to use and a clever idea. Just a shame about the content of this tour.

Some directions are outdated as new construction and street renovations are happening. Also, we were lost a couple of times as some descriptions were incomplete.

This audio tour works really well but it had less dark side stuff than I expected. Although the the slavery stuff was harrowing. The GPS trigger for audio worked great!

This was a fun tour with lots of information that I didn't know about Aberdeen. We did the tour at night, so weren't able to take advantage of the museums or the pubs on the route. Will definitely do it again during the day.
