The tour guide Alex Duncan was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about everything Scottish. The information he shared included history, geography, current events, and lore. He was friendly and patient. Also a good driver! I couldn’t have been happier with my tour! I want to visit again with my family and share this experience with them.

Alex was very personable and informative. Loved that there were only 7 people on the tour and we definitely drove places that I’d never trust myself to drive to! Beautiful photo stops! I would have preferred to stop somewhere else than Peterhead for lunch. The town has definitely seen better times. I loved all the other stops/drives. Seeing hundreds of seals at Newburgh Beach was a great ending! And thanks to Alex for the dinner recommendation at The Globe! It was a perfect end to a fun day!

The day was lovely. Our guide was a native of Peterhead where we stopped for lunch. The countryside and coast reminded me of nova scotia.
First stop was Gardenstown which is a cute old fishing village. Next we took a 10 minute trail along the beach to Crovie, population 4. Our next stop was a few minutes more down the road to Pennan, pop 6. It’s also famous as the filming location for a minor cult classic called Local Hero where the phone booth plays a big role.
We drove thru Fraserborough and saw Scotland’s oldest lighthouse but couldn’t stop to take a good pic. Next we went to Peterhead which is the furthest east city in scotland and a major center of the fishing industry for Europe. We had fish and chips at a famous place known for them at the port. The next stop was the Bullars o’Buchanan which featured a collapsed sea cave and puffins! We had a picture stop at Collieston and then saw seals at Favie National preserve. Our guide shared his knowledge of the areas we visited and northeast Scotland.

A wonderful day trip through the countryside of Aberdeenshire. Visited tiny coastal villages and learnt about life in a fishing village. Our wonderful driver/guide Alix who has lived in Aberdeen all his life was able to tell us so many stories of life in Aberdeen. A very good driver around windy narrow roads. We loved our day with him.

We had a great day out with Jamie. He captured our attention with his great knowledge and personal stories of the area. We came home with a real appreciation of the past and present lives of the fishermen and their families. Interspersed this with the history of oil exploration and farming. Well done Jamie

Spectacular chill day visiting the seaside. Jamie was an amazing guide! Lots of history along with a perfect amount of time for each stop.Well worth the time... especially if you want a great tour away from the city... lots of peaceful walks with photo opportunities and photogenic scenery. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The tour was well organized and paced well. Jaime, our guide, was personable, knowledgeable, easy-going and pleasant. ALL of the stops were quite memorable. It's just too bad the morning fog along the coast inhibited views of several of the coastal towns.

You owe it to yourself to go on this tour. The shore region around Aberdeen is beautiful and rustic. This was a small tour group (7 max) with a great guide (thanks Jamie!!). The weather cooperated most of the time with wonderful views of cliffs and villages and birds. Even when the fog rolled in, the scenes were amazing. On a side note, one of the villages (Pennan) was featured in a charming 1980s movie called "Local Hero" (with a great cameo by Burt Lancaster). Watch it before you go to this region of Scotland. Then you'll understand the importance of the phone booth. :) So, stop reading this review and book the tour. You won't regret it.

It was a very relaxing day touring the Scottish coastal villages. Our tour guide was fun,knowledgeable and engaging with fellow travelers. She told the story of where a movie was film in one of the tiny villages. We all took pictures of the famous phone box. I would totally recommend this rour.

I had an amazing day. Jacqueline was so lovely and I really enjoyed the smaller group for the tour. There was only 7 of us and we all ended up chatting and having a great time together. Gardenstown and Pennan were super cute and really charming. We also saw an amazing castle and some great scenery along the way. I would absolutely recommend this tour.
