What are people saying about Sorrento

Giovanni took us to shops...
Giovanni took us to shops and restaurants and introduced us to the locally produced foods and drinks. Without his guide, we wouldn't be able to pick these stores by ourselves since we are new to the place and there are so many stores in the area. It would be impossible to for us to pick a good one. We went to a Gelateria, delicatessen, limoncello shop, gnocchi restaurant, and a bar. While walking around the main shopping streets, he pointed the famous landmarks and gave some information about them. It was fun, tasty, and informative.

This tour was exceptional…we saw…we learned and we indulged in Italian Farm life!
This tour was a highlight of our trip to Southern Italy. Eugenio took us throughout the farm teaching us all about the lemon, olive and farm business that has been in his family for 4 generations. We walked through the groves while he explained the operation of his family business. The grounds were beautiful and the family pride in their business was so evident. We tasted the honeys jams and olive oil before entering their home for a made-from-scratch meal with the farm ingredients. Everything was so delicious. Included with the meal was the family wine and limoncello. We all left after learning a lot about the farm and la dolce vida! We highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic Experience and Food!
Incredible experience! The family was extremely welcoming and we had such a great time. The food was delicious and Anna was funny and made the experience entertaining. The food and wine were incredible and we loved tasting all the foods grown and produced on the farm. Highly recommend! Our kids, 13 and 17 both enjoyed it as much as my husband and I.

Great full day experience...
Great full day experience in Capri. We started taking the ferry to the island from the Sorrento port. The blue grotto was open so we then had a shuttle take us there. Expect to get a little wet and maybe have some cash on hand to tip the sailors (small row boats). Then the shuttle took us to Anacapri where we could take the chair lift (additional cost, 15 euro per person round trip - took card). We then took the shuttle back to the heart of Capri where we had about an hour to eat lunch and walk around. I may have preferred more time here and less at Anacapri/the port. Then we finished off in the port of Capri for more shopping before catching the 330p ferry back to Sorrento. Our tour guide was Cynthia who helpfully wore bright colors and gave us a lot of information about the island. However it was sometimes difficult to keep up with her in the crowds.

Situated between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento is a gateway to Southern Italy that’s well worth exploring on its own. Admire the town’s artisan shops and seaside views with a local guide, then visit a lemon grove to taste limoncello made with Sorrento’s famed citrus. You can also hire a boat to Capri, swimming and snorkeling until the sun sets, or hop between the picturesque villages on the Amalfi Coast by boat or car. Yet another option is to hike the Path of the Gods, a cliffside trail with sweeping vistas of the colorful coastline and Bay of Naples.
