What are people saying about Sorrento

Great full day experience...
Great full day experience in Capri. We started taking the ferry to the island from the Sorrento port. The blue grotto was open so we then had a shuttle take us there. Expect to get a little wet and maybe have some cash on hand to tip the sailors (small row boats). Then the shuttle took us to Anacapri where we could take the chair lift (additional cost, 15 euro per person round trip - took card). We then took the shuttle back to the heart of Capri where we had about an hour to eat lunch and walk around. I may have preferred more time here and less at Anacapri/the port. Then we finished off in the port of Capri for more shopping before catching the 330p ferry back to Sorrento. Our tour guide was Cynthia who helpfully wore bright colors and gave us a lot of information about the island. However it was sometimes difficult to keep up with her in the crowds.

This was a very well run...
This was a very well run tour operated by a delightful and fun husband and wife. They provided transportation to their farm high up in the hills above Sorrento. Their vistas were spectacular. The actual pizza making class was lots of fun and they took lots of pictures for us to remember the day. They were generous with wine at lunch with our pizza and limoncello. Would highly recommend the experience!

Great food tour!
We did this food tour on our first day in Sorrento. We loved it! Giovanni took us to off the beaten path places where the locals eat. Everything was delicious and there was plenty of food. We had just enough walking between restaurants to be ready for the next tasting. We got an overview of the town and a list of his favorite restaurants for the next few days that we will be here. I highly recommend this tour.

Must do experience!
This was a wonderful experience for the whole family. or even just for a couple. Highly recommend this farm experience and will do it again in the future! The family was so accommodating and made this experience so special. This was our family’s top experience in our nine-day stay in a few different locations of Italy.

Situated between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento is a gateway to Southern Italy that’s well worth exploring on its own. Admire the town’s artisan shops and seaside views with a local guide, then visit a lemon grove to taste limoncello made with Sorrento’s famed citrus. You can also hire a boat to Capri, swimming and snorkeling until the sun sets, or hop between the picturesque villages on the Amalfi Coast by boat or car. Yet another option is to hike the Path of the Gods, a cliffside trail with sweeping vistas of the colorful coastline and Bay of Naples.
