What are people saying about Salerno

Enjoyable visit to Pompeii
Our guide Frank was wonderful. He made sense of things we could just have looked without any understanding had we gone by ourselves. Ancient life in Pompeii came to life thanks to his knowledge. And he did all this in a very enjoyable way, as he is very funny, too.

Pompeii from Salerno cruise port.
Easily to see sign when leaving the cruise port, great coach transfer with lovely driver. Esther our tour guide was excellent, her knowledge was fantastic and asked may times if we had questions. Transfer back to port was on time, and an added bonus of a packed lunch when boarding the coach. Highly recommend and a great price.

Best way to see the Amalfi coast
There is no question that visiting the Amalfi coast in a small boat with a small group of people is by far the best way to experience this beautiful and historic place. Our tour from Salerno, which included stops in Amalfi and Positano, was definitely a highlight of our recent trip to Italy. Our guide, Enrica (sp?), grew up on this coastline and provided lots of interesting information about the picturesque landscape and villages. Norris, our captain, expertly piloted the 9-meter boat along the coast and into the harbors while ensuring everyone on board had a good view. We highly recommend this small group tour to anyone who wants to see the Amalfi coast up close in a relaxing way.

Dream come true
I have always wanted to see Pompeii and after watching documentaries even more so Herculaneum. Ohmigoodness, where do I start!? This was single-handed the highlight of my trip to Italy. Our guide was excellent and made the experience fun. Our driver was also the best driver we had while in time and Italy so kudos to him, also. They made it very easy to book the train from Rome to Naples. Book this excursion. You will not be disappointed! I will tell you tho, Pompeii especially is very rugged terrain. If you have mobility difficulties it might not be for you.
