Pretty Smooth Execution

Our tour guide, Sasa, was outstanding and went out of his way to give us a chance to duck into the museum in Pompeii to see a couple quick things. The tour operator delivered despite a couple hiccups. Apparently our guide for the day did not show up and they had to hustle to get Sasa to come and take us in. My ride from Salerno went very smoothly with excellent communication from Giuseppe. It was a quick ride to Pompeii. From there it was a little confusing however, Mary Ann met me at the car and walked up up the hill to the entrance to the historical site. She said I could grab a bite to eat or use the restroom because they would not start for 1/2 hour. After that I had to do some follow up but I eventually found my tour group (of 21). Following Sssa's tour. The tour company quickly got me into a vehicle for the longer ride back to Salerno so I would get to the cruise ship on time. That went very smoothly. I would recommend this excursion.

Great overview of Pompeii

A little slow to get going as it took a while to collect the group together. The coach was very comfortable and it was about a 40 min drive to Pompeii. Our guide, Francesco, was excellent. He took us on a route that covered many of the highlights of the site and provided an informative and amusing commentary. It would have been nice to have a little more time in the main square and the museum.

Salvatore was a great guide who met right at the port entrance upon getting off of the ship. Although we had 3 other guests join us for a total of 8 people, it still felt like a small private tour where he gave us options on where we could get out of the van for scenic views and picture spots. This was the first...

This was the first excursion we booked for our honeymoon and we are so happy we did! The whole day was amazing and we felt so lucky to have Norris and Delilah, they were awesome and SO knowledgeable. We learned a lot, saw some beautiful views, and hit some great swimming spots. The whole day was perfectly paced and we got to see everything we wanted to on this trip. We had the best guided with Julia and Norris. Julia was so friendly and informative sharing stories and history along our boat ride. We enjoyed two stops and it was very easy to find them at the end of the visit. Appreciated the tips of places to check out and of course the swim was fantastic. Roads on the bus ride are typical Italian coast, a bit winding up and down through the towns; but enjoyed the multiple stops and the free time in each. Driver Francesco handled it flawlessly and guide Rosy was very personable, informative and easy to understand.

Constanza and Salvatore were both great hosts, offering up soft drinks and water the whole trip. The snorkeling and ocean water was really nice on such a warm day and was so refreshing BUT be mindful, you are only given 30 minutes in the water the entire time. I would highly deter people with children for this particular trip. There isn’t much to do on Capri, simply getting to the top of the island was a hot & hectic trek (You’re not really there yet when you’re dropped off at the port) and we were already tired from the snorkel. My 13 yr old was over it after the first hour there and you’re given three. For adults? This is a decent amount of time if you want to go shopping and look around the island; kids really don’t wanna do that, they just wanna go back to the beach and we didn’t find one to swim in. Parents - hope this helps!
