A Sobering Experience
Standing in Auschwitz was sobering in a way nothing I'd read or watched had prepared me for. Our guide was exceptional: deeply knowledgeable, respectful, and careful with every word. The history was told with the weight it deserves, and it's something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. If you're in Kraków, go. All other tours are just that, tours.🕯️

Must visit
99% of the experience was faultless - communication with our driver was good, pick up was on time and the tour guide was very passionate and knowledgable.
We intentionally booked a tour later in the day which meant the experience was less busy and not rushed.
Only negative was that, the day before our trip, the tour company tried to change our Saturday afternoon booking to Sunday at 6am - we were unable to oblige.

Excellent tour
The pick up was on time and the driver was very informative and friendly. The tour guide at the venue gave a lot of information in a sympathetic manner. There is write a bit of walking involved at Auschwitz museum but most is inside. At Birkenau the walking is outside over approximately an hour. Be prepared for inclement weather. Good updates from Viator prior to the experience.

Auschwitz Birkenau - a deeply sombering experience
This is not an experience for the faint-hearted. It is a deeply sobering and intense experience that is difficult to put into words. The guide was excellent, and the level of detail provided was exceptional, although at times deeply upsetting. No book or film can truly prepare you for being there in person and seeing the sheer extent of human cruelty. The scale of the dehumanisation is almost impossible to comprehend.
The driver collected me from my apartment on time and kept me updated throughout the process leading up to the pick-up. Sebastian, our driver, was friendly, professional and spoke excellent English. The minibus was comfortable and clean, with onboard facilities, and the lunch provided was perfectly adequate.
Sebastian was also very attentive throughout the day, making sure we were in the correct queues and knew where we needed to be at Auschwitz. The cost included an excellent guided tour of both Auschwitz and Birkenau and, overall, I felt it represented good value for money.
This was an incredibly moving and unforgettable experience, and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting to visit Auschwitz.

Well organised and memorable tour
We had a fantastic experience on the guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Salt Mines. The guides were incredibly approachable, knowledgeable, and passionate, making the entire experience both informative and memorable. Everything was very well organised, from pick-up to drop-off, which made the day completely stress-free. The whole experience ran smoothly, and we felt well looked after throughout. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a well-organised, informative, and memorable experience. Thank you to the team and guides for such a wonderful job!

Appropriately somber and very educational
Our driver, Eugene, was very patient with us as I apparently gave him the wrong hotel name (there are more than 1 hotels in Krakow with the same name) for a very early morning pickup. The pickup was supposed to have been around 7 am, but they had to change it to 5:30 due to the demands of the museum.
Once we got to Auschwitz, our instructions were very clear which is always nice with these tours. He handed us off to Anna who escorted us through Auschwitz and then Birkenau. She was very knowledgable about both and told us that her grandfather was part of the rescue medical team that went into Birkenau after liberatlon to try and help the remaining survivors. Admittedly, Auschwitz is trying to process thousands of visitors every day, but that part of the tour felt rushed. We had to quickly move through some of the blocks, and I don't blame this on her but rather on the sheer need to process that many visitors.

A lovely day spent exploring the hills of Zakopane and the thermal baths. The trip was so enjoyable and all you have to do is sit back and look at the scenery and put your walking shoes on . Very well organized. The thermal spas were delightful and refreshing and an opportunity to mingle with fellow travellers. I definitely recommend this tour.

Organised with Viator...
Organised with Viator with pick up from hotel. Driver even gave us details of buildings & locations during trip. Speedy entrance to mines. Tour guide friendly and informative. Wear comfortable shoes as a lot of steps down into mine. Temp is approx 18 degrees so quite warm. In awe of the mine and what the workers had to endure to create it. Taken aback at the size of some of the chambers, vast areas all created by hand. Loved that there was such a religious element and atmosphere. Worth going too. Highly recommended and recommend.

Auschwitz-Birkenau & Salt Mines
It's a very long day, and about 15,000 steps. Auschwitz-Birkenau was a difficult trip in terms of the history, but they do service to those who died and are so respectful. Salt mines were interesting but again a lot of walking so be prepared. Well worth it - we included lunch with our ticket and all agree that was also well worth.

Great Tour Guide
The transport bus didn’t pick up near my hotel. I had to walk about 2 miles in the heat to catch the bus.
However the bus driver was awesome and the tour guide Anna were very nice and helpful. Our guide was absolutely amazing! She has absolutely provided a 5star tour experience.

Bridget the Tour Guide
Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau was one of the most moving and emotional experiences I’ve ever had. It’s a place that everyone should visit at least once to truly understand the scale of the atrocities that took place and to honour the memory of those who suffered.
Our guide, Bridget, was exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and respectful throughout the tour. She shared the history in such a powerful and engaging way, helping us understand not just the facts, but the human stories behind them. Her guidance made the experience even more meaningful, and she answered every question with care and sensitivity.
Although it was a deeply heartbreaking visit, I’m grateful to have experienced it. It is something that will stay with me forever, and I cannot recommend this tour and Bridget highly enough.
