We had a great tour and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Great to have the pint of view of an Oxford alumni. Very thorough and covered most of the highlights that we could access. Group was right size where you could still ask questions and hear everything. Guide was terrific and I would definitely recommend him again !

Fun Harry Potter tour

Our guide Alissa was great. She was knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. Seeing the quad at New College where Mad Eye Moody turned Malfoy into a ferret was the highlight. Alissa was full of Harry Potter facts and we had a fun trivia competition between the four Hogwarts houses. Some of the tours connection to Harry Potter was tenuous at best, but overall it was very worth it and enjoyable.

Engaging informative tour

A highly informative and engaging tour of the university colleges and the history of Oxford. Elliot bought lots of first hand student experience and explained how the Oxford system of teaching differs to other universities. It was wonderful to have his excellent knowledge of Latin as he was able to translate headstones within the chapels etc. We thought the tour provided excellent value and was a great insight into this ancient and fascinating university town.

My wife and I had a wonderfully informative conversation with guide Jason Thomas as he walked us through the Oxford town and university and almost a thousand years of English history. We came to appreciate far better, the central role of Oxford in early British history and the development of higher education in the UK. We feel very fortunate that we could have Jason as our guide. He did a brilliant job.

Afternoon Tea and Boat Trip. An excellent combination!

I was only in Oxford for the day, and I couldn't pass up a trip down the river. I decided to arrive early and treat myself to an afternoon tea at the Folly Restaurant. It proved to be an excellent combination! Everyone I met during my experience was friendly, chatty and professional. I chose this one following other online recommendations, and I am glad I did. Book in advance, turn up 15mins .before due time. If possible don't bring large bags or packages.Be prepared to take lots of photo's Sit back , relax ,enjoy the experience. Our "chauffeur"Marcus was friendly and informative and had a story about all the colleges we passed. He expertly punted us for 40mins.We really enjoyed the trip.
