Amazing, definitely feel better informed!

What an amazing experience. Sam Day was our group's tour guide and how he remembers so much information, dates, names, stories of events, as well as information about the different colleges is truly impressive. We had people from France, Australia, USA and UK present and he was able to effortlessly bring in gems of information that related to all represented countries which made it feel more inclusive. The tour was over 2 hours, but never boring, as Sam used humour and anecdotal information to keep us entertained and interested. My teen daughter is thinking about applying to Oxford and we wanted to see it and hear from an alumni. Sam answered all questions as we went along but stayed and answered a few specific extra from us afterwards too. (As the rest of the group were tourists and did not include potential students.) Nothing was too much trouble. We came away feeling so well informed and are now keen to attend the university open days to learn even more. A lovely autumn afternoon

It was a lovely afternoon with Max. He was informed and gave a great commentary as we went along. Even though the weather wasn’t great, it didn’t spoil the experience. We saw a heron and a kingfisher too! Food was lovely. Tea was nice and hot! I highly recommend this experience to anyone. Intimate. Only one other couple.

Great intro tour, don’t hesitate to book!

What a perfect introduction to the Cotswolds! Dave was our guide and the entire day was well paced, well narrated, comfortable, and fun. We learned so much from Dave’s commentary as we drove, and had just enough time in each village on our own. We appreciated how we were taken to the busier areas early to avoid the crowds, and the suggestions of things to do at each spot. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderfully informative conversation with guide Jason Thomas as he walked us through the Oxford town and university and almost a thousand years of English history. We came to appreciate far better, the central role of Oxford in early British history and the development of higher education in the UK. We feel very fortunate that we could have Jason as our guide. He did a brilliant job.

We had already booked the hop-on hop-off online. The information booth at the train station was easy to find because we wanted to know exactly where the stop at the train station is. Unfortunately, I had booked the wrong ticket for the family, but thanks to the employee Shan, we were able to use the ticket after all and didn't have to pay for an expensive rebooking. Thanks for clarifying over the phone with the head office! The audio guide on the bus was in different languages and we were able to get a good impression of the city in one day. Also included in the price was a personal city tour (1 hour), which we really enjoyed: our guide Estef talked with a lot of enthusiasm about the city, the buildings, and the history - even though we were only a small group, we got great tips and were able to explore the most important things on our own afterward. Especially because we didn't have much time, we were very happy about the tips.

Afternoon Tea and Boat Trip. An excellent combination!

I was only in Oxford for the day, and I couldn't pass up a trip down the river. I decided to arrive early and treat myself to an afternoon tea at the Folly Restaurant. It proved to be an excellent combination! Everyone I met during my experience was friendly, chatty and professional. I chose this one following other online recommendations, and I am glad I did. An excellent experience.

A fascinating journey into the past.

Due to the small number of people (7 participants from different countries and guide Andy), a lively and individual exchange was possible. Our guide Andy was able to inform us about the history and special features of the Cotswolds in a very entertaining way. Funny anecdotes ensured that it was not boring for a single minute. The places visited were consistently worth seeing and the landscape was picturesque.

A Good day trip

The tour was very well planned and our guide Martin was very good in making all of us comfortable. Also, he had good knowledge about the heritage sites and he answered all our questions patiently. We also had another guide, John who took us on a walking tour in Bath. He was a very charming and entertaining person who was very well versed with history of The Bath. He told us many interesting folklore stories and history of the place. Overall, it was a good day trip. Though it was a long travel, the trip was planned well enough to not get us too tired. We were a group of 15 people and went in an air conditioned mercedes minivan which was very comfortable.
