The tour guide, Gladson (?), was very knowledgeable, and he customized the tour based on the interests of his audiences.

With Gladson as our guide, we learned much about Oxford University and the special inspirations for the Harry Potter movies. I would 100% recommend this tour, and if you are fortunate enough to have Gladson guide you, a terrific tour will be had! Awesome tour!!

A great mix of Harry Potter lore and locations as well as general Oxford University facts. Our guide Gladson was great at tailoring our tour to the groups interests but then going more in depth with myself and my sister who wanted to see a bit more of the uni, as well as giving us some tips of other things to do in Oxford after the tour.

We were so lucky to find Ștefan, he is very charismatic and offered incredible details of both Harry Potter and Oxford. He also made the walk super fun with some trivia and jokes. Ștefan Was also very patient when he waited for me to translate for my mother. Thank you!

Exceeded expectations! A wonderful mix of University history intertwined with Harry Potter highlights. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. It was difficult to locate him in town at first so some better signage would be my only feedback.

We were called about half an hour before to inform us that the tour was cancelled but that we could rebook on an Oxford walking tour without the inclusion of New College, which was the Harry Potter part of it. We were told that New college couldn’t accommodate their group tour because they had high traffic that day. When I called New College directly, they disputed what the tour told me and said they were indeed accommodating group tour and that my tour company probably just didn’t want to pay the extra admission. I really would have liked to do the Oxford tour along with New College, so just canceled. I went to new college on my own and saw some large tour groups there. Not sure what the case is but it was unfortunate to have our tour cancelled last minute.

While this is billed as a Harry Potter tour, there is really very little connection with Harry Potter. It’s a great Oxford tour but you may be disappointed if your primary motivation is to see sites with a Harry Potter connection. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very nice.

We had a wonderful tour of Oxford schools with a real physics PhD student, Kris. He was very knowledgeable and fun and took us to great historical spots. We even got a lovely impromptu organ recital at one of the chapels. Highly recommend!

Oxford is VERY congested with limited parking. We called ahead to notify our guide we were just 1 minute behind while we were walking up and he was very rude. Canceled us with no refund. We also noticed you can buy tickets at the door for only 18 pounds - much cheaper than online. There is also a free Oxford walking tour available, its self guided and can start at any time so you really don’t need to book anything beforehand. Save the stress and the rude service.

However, we would like to clarify that our policy on late arrivals is clearly stated at the time of booking. We cannot delay the start of a tour and keep other guests waiting, as this would be unfair to those who arrived on time. It is each guest’s responsibility to plan ahead and allow time for potential delays such as traffic or parking.
Regarding pricing, different companies or resellers may set their own rates, much like with trains or flights. Our online prices reflect the full service we provide, including dedicated guides and customer support.

Great fun, our helpful and friendly guide Rohan had good knowledge of Harry Potter films, the author/ filming and sites, as well as general knowledge on Oxford sites. The tour was billed as being 1 1/2 hours, but was only 1 hour. We had a small group, so maybe that was the reason. Overall a great experience.

Very enjoyable and informative tour with excellent guide, Rohan. Gentle walking route taking in places of interest related to Harry Potter and Oxford University. Rohan provided lots of historical information on Oxford and took us to locations that had been used in the Harry Potter films. Highly recommended.

I paid over 50 pounds and I thought I will be visiting a few colleges. The only one we visited was new college, which is open to public anyway. Also I saw other guides that were quizzing their guests and sharing a lot more information than our guide. Our guide was very nice but I felt that the tour was not worth 50 pounds.

Alec was a great guide. Not only did he tell the group interesting Harry Potter facts, but he also gave us a good deal of information about Oxford University and its constituent colleges. As a PhD student at the university, he gave us an interesting perspective of student life. The tour also included entry to New College, which is an amazing place. I would be remiss also if I didn’t say that I booked for 19/12 instead of 18/12 by mistake, typical of me! But Alec had no qualms whatsoever about letting us join on 18th!

Our guide was a very engaging young man, knowledgable about the colleges from his experiences. My one criticism was the walk is headed Harry Potter experience. We would say it was more colleges with a tiny smattering of Harry Potter. Initially our appointment had been cancelled for 3pm and a 1pm slot suggested, I instantly accepted that and asked for confirmation. The answer came back finally 3 1/2 hours later meaning we were unsure if we could join or not - this wasn't professional we felt. Overall we enjoyed our experience.
