Another great transport from Joshua!
Joshua came to transport my brother, my wife, and I to the airport from our Airbnb in Antigua. Just like the previous transport that Joshua provided for my other family members, he arrived early and let us know he was outside via WhatsApp. This worked perfectly because we were ready early, and were able to depart to the airport a bit earlier than our scheduled time. Joshua was very nice and we had some good conversation along the way. We got to the airport with plenty of time to catch our flights. Thank you!

Best tour and guide!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide Roberto! Our volcano hike was definitely challenging and pushed us outside of our comfort zones, but having such a kind, patient, and encouraging guide made all the difference.
Our guide Roberto was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and attentive throughout the entire hike. They made sure we were doing okay, encouraged us when things got difficult, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Their positive attitude and kindness helped us keep going, even during the toughest parts of the climb.
We truly appreciated all the little things they did along the way to make the experience special. They shared their knowledge of the area, helped us feel safe and comfortable, and made what could have been an overwhelming hike into an incredible memory that we will always cherish.
Thank you so much Roberto for your hard work, patience, encouragement, and for helping us accomplish something we weren’t sure we could do! We are so grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend this tour and guide to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Guatemala. ❤️🌋🇬🇹

Best Pacaya Tour - HIGHLY recommend ✨
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Guatemala! Everyone involved was knowledgeable, attentive, and had great energy.
The driver picked me up in Antigua and shared fun stories and history on the way to Pacaya. There we met our incredible guide, Danny, who introduced us to our horses and walked up the volcano alongside us, answering questions in Spanish and English. As a local, he had a wealth of knowledge about Pacaya, its history, and life there. Shoutout Danny, he's the best! The views of the volcano among the clouds at the top were insane!! I was surprised to find the charming "lava shop," selling souvenirs made from volcanic matter and I was psyched to see the infamous volcano pizza in action, cooked with the volcano's heat. It was actually really good (coming from a NY pizza snob) and we roasted marshmallows for dessert.
After taking in the views, we rode our horses back down and were back in Antigua mid-afternoon.
All said, it was a magical day I will never forget!

Amazing experience with a great company.
I had an excellent experience. Both of our guides, Eric and Jaime were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their camp once up the mountain was very clean and comfortable and offered great views of Fuego which were pretty awe-inspiring. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Polite and efficient driver
Our driver was very polite and efficient. He seemed to take some shortcuts to help us out of traffic as well which was nice, because there was a lot of traffic and a few vehicle accidents. It was also at nighttime and a 3.5 hour drive from airport to Antigua.

Incredible experience but keep illness in mind
I really enjoyed the tour company I thought they were professional and friendly from start to finish I like the touch of providing smoothies for us on return. Lots of our gear was included I only payed extra for hiking pools at the base of the mountain but I felt they went above and beyond to make our experience special they had marshmallows and hot chocolate at base camp and a common area cabin that was really nice. The cabins held 2 to 4 people and were very comfortable I didn’t feel cold when sleeping only at fuego and they really monitored out weather to make fuego happened. That being said every person on our tour did get sick within 24-48 hours with a gastrointestinal illness I suspect ecoli it could have been from the chicken in the lunch or water truly anything and as unfortunate as this is I truly feel it was a one off and i would still recommend this company just be mindful if you feel unwell in the following days to go to a pharmacy

Very well coordinated...
Very well coordinated experience. Pickup and drop off in Antigua was easy and well communicated. We went to a few different villages and did a bunch of activities. I also decided to stay overnight in San Juan and come to Antigua the following day and they were very accommodating and allowed me to return the following day with the other group at no extra charge.

Great experience; with things to know!
John was a fantastic tour guide for our ATV sunset ride! We started around 2:15 PM, and he was thorough, friendly, and guided us in English. The whole experience felt well-paced, with enough time at each stop to explore and enjoy everything without feeling rushed and not feeling like we’re spending too much time at places.
A few things worth knowing beforehand: You are required to wear a helmet. You’ll be riding the ATVs on regular roads alongside other cars, so this isn’t an off-road or mountain ATV experience. At Hobbitenango, the final stop, the departure time you agree to is set because the vehicles operate on a schedule. If you decide you want to leave earlier, they may not be able to accommodate that, so plan accordingly.
There was also one very short stretch where we got some dust in our faces for a few seconds, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re particularly sensitive to dust or have any related concerns.
Overall, it was such a fun experience and surprisingly not stressful at all. John made everything easy and enjoyable from start to finish. 10/10 would absolutely do it again!

Multiple perfect experiences
We had multiple car rides all over Guatemala and our Driver was Joshua. He was courteous and kind, and I felt comfortable with him. My entire family enjoyed having him as the driver for our vacation. I would definitely book with them again. Zero issues and they were always on time.

10/10 Recommend!
This experience was definitely one of the highlights of my trip and probably the best meal I had. Dario and Victor were fantastic, personable and so knowledgeable. I ended up having a solo class because others dropped out last minute but I highly recommend! Thank you Dario and Victor! And a special shoutout to my driver Ronny for getting me to and from the class safely.

Unique experience and well organized
We loved experiencing the volcano. In particular, the lava field was fascinating. It felt like a uniquely Guatemalan experience, which is what we were looking for. The tour was really well organized, including excellent communication days before the outing and during our tour. We had 3 guides that were spread out amongst our group to assist with navigation and safety.
Tips:
- There is about a 1.5 hour drive through the mountains in a shuttle before and after the ATV part, so come prepared if you are prone to motion sickness.
- Wear hiking boots. We did ok in sneakers, but hiking boots would have made for an easier experience.
- For novice ATV drivers… the instructor provided good operating instructions and also provided advice on navigating some more challenging parts of the trail throughout the trek. It is the rainy season, so we could see where some parts of the trail were washed out, etc. If you’re uncomfortable, they do provide an option to back out of driving before leaving. Also, the ATVs can accommodate 2 people if you want to designate a driver and a rider.

One of the craziest things I have seen in my life
The hike to base camp is hard but totally worth it. Once we got to the base camp, the view was blocked by clouds but weather changes so fast and could see and hear the volcano. It is so impressive! The hike to Fuego is even harder and you will come back at night, but what an experience! It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I didn’t go to the summit in the morning because I was too tired.
The service itself was incredible. Axel, Leo, Lily and 2 other local guides were very careful, kind and professional. Such a good team. We felt safe and cared for at all times. They cooked for us and organized everything so well.
Definitely take the free gear they have to climb and rent hiking sticks.
Oh, and loooots of dogs to pet on the way 😍
Muchas gracias, it will stick with me my whole life.

Antigua, Guatemala, tours run the gamut. To get your adrenaline pumping, opt for an overnight sunrise summit hike of the Acatenango Volcano to safely view the adjacent—and still highly active—Volcán de Fuego. Not an early riser? Buckle your helmet strap and explore the countryside and its mountain villages via ATV sunset tour. For something more laid-back, take a day tour of Lake Atitlán, join a cooking class and market tour, or learn about the locally-produced chocolate and coffee. Whether adventure-driven or culture-centric, each Antigua tour will give you something to talk about.
