Awesome
We had such an amazing time on our ATV tour with Jose! The views were beautiful, and he made the experience even better with his humor and amazing hospitality. He had us laughing throughout the tour and made us feel so welcome. Definitely a highlight of our trip—highly recommend booking a tour with Jose!

Excellent shuttle service! Joshua was such a pleasant driver, and he was very thoughtful in that he spoke slowly enough for us to understand him (todavía estamos aprendiendo español!). I would highly recommend using this service for your inter-city transportation in Guatemala.

Great class with excellent chef and location
This was a fantastic experience. Milton took us thru the Antigua market which is huge, educating us on food and local produce. Once we bought our ingredients we traveled to the school: a gorgeous open kitchen and proceeded to prepare a three course meal of traditional Guatemalan dishes. We also sampled 7 local fruits that were in season. Milton was an excellent teacher and provided lots of information as we worked. The class is intimate: only 4 of us. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn about Guatrmalan culture through food. We had a blast!

Another great transport from Joshua!
Joshua came to transport my brother, my wife, and I to the airport from our Airbnb in Antigua. Just like the previous transport that Joshua provided for my other family members, he arrived early and let us know he was outside via WhatsApp. This worked perfectly because we were ready early, and were able to depart to the airport a bit earlier than our scheduled time. Joshua was very nice and we had some good conversation along the way. We got to the airport with plenty of time to catch our flights. Thank you!

Started off pretty bad and ending great!
We booked and we had absolutely no communication before arrival. When we showed up the staff didn't know we had booked at all but quickly got us on our way up the mountain. They had all the supplies you'd need and additional supplies you could rent. We felt concerned at the start but our local guide Jaido (not sure how to spell it but he pronouced it as Hi-do) was amazing (He is pictured below in the middle)! He spoke Spanish and some English and let us move up and down the volcano at our own pace. We literally ran up the to the camps on Acentenago. After 2 hours of resting we struggled our way up and down Fuego and I will say, it was an amazing trip. Unfortunately, Fuego was a little shy when we got closer but we tried to be friendly. It erupted when we left and was back at base camp so maybe its a little performance shy. We stayed up at base camp overnight and came back down the next day. Even though they failed at communication their expertise showed through when they were able to put the tour on full speed at the last minute. They said there was a communication error with Viator and their system which didn't make much sense to me but I know stuff happens. I'd recommend them because our trip was amazing and they put it together at a moments notice. Give them some prep time and it should go even better.

Best tour and guide!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide Roberto! Our volcano hike was definitely challenging and pushed us outside of our comfort zones, but having such a kind, patient, and encouraging guide made all the difference.
Our guide Roberto was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and attentive throughout the entire hike. They made sure we were doing okay, encouraged us when things got difficult, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Their positive attitude and kindness helped us keep going, even during the toughest parts of the climb.
We truly appreciated all the little things they did along the way to make the experience special. They shared their knowledge of the area, helped us feel safe and comfortable, and made what could have been an overwhelming hike into an incredible memory that we will always cherish.
Thank you so much Roberto for your hard work, patience, encouragement, and for helping us accomplish something we weren’t sure we could do! We are so grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend this tour and guide to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Guatemala. ❤️🌋🇬🇹

This was such a fun and...
This was such a fun and unique experience in Antigua! We really enjoyed getting to take part in the entire process of creating our own piece of jade jewelry, rather than simply watching someone else make it.
The experience started with being able to choose our own piece of jade, which made it feel personal right from the beginning. From there, we picked the design we wanted and then actually worked on shaping and creating the piece ourselves. It was really interesting to see how a rough piece of jade slowly transformed into something beautiful that we could take home with us.
The instructors were wonderful. They were friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire process. They gave us plenty of opportunity to do the work ourselves while stepping in when needed to make sure our pieces turned out well. They also helped with the finishing touches so that what we made looked polished and professionally finished.
I especially liked that you leave with a souvenir that has much more meaning than something you simply purchase in a store—you actually selected the jade and helped create the finished piece yourself.
This was a great hands-on activity and something a little different from the typical sightseeing tours. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Antigua who wants a fun, creative, and memorable experience.

Incredible experience but keep illness in mind
I really enjoyed the tour company I thought they were professional and friendly from start to finish I like the touch of providing smoothies for us on return. Lots of our gear was included I only payed extra for hiking pools at the base of the mountain but I felt they went above and beyond to make our experience special they had marshmallows and hot chocolate at base camp and a common area cabin that was really nice. The cabins held 2 to 4 people and were very comfortable I didn’t feel cold when sleeping only at fuego and they really monitored out weather to make fuego happened. That being said every person on our tour did get sick within 24-48 hours with a gastrointestinal illness I suspect ecoli it could have been from the chicken in the lunch or water truly anything and as unfortunate as this is I truly feel it was a one off and i would still recommend this company just be mindful if you feel unwell in the following days to go to a pharmacy

Book the tour!
This was such an excellent experience that I wasn’t expecting. Gio, our guide, made sure we were all comfortable with our ATVs—I wasn’t. But he didn’t make a big deal about it or seem frustrated and served as my driver.
He made the experience memorable for us all and was a great paparazzo! I would have never been able to capture photos so well.
Having a small group of kind participants made the day even more enjoyable.
Gio did a wonderful job of giving us plenty of time at Hobbitenango, but not too much so we were bored. He stuck to schedule, which is appreciated when traveling and tour/events are booked in advanced.
I also liked how all off the gunners were included In our entrance to Everything.
I would recommend Gio’s ATV ride to anyone!

10/10 Recommend!
This experience was definitely one of the highlights of my trip and probably the best meal I had. Dario and Victor were fantastic, personable and so knowledgeable. I ended up having a solo class because others dropped out last minute but I highly recommend! Thank you Dario and Victor! And a special shoutout to my driver Ronny for getting me to and from the class safely.

Daryl was an amazing guide!
We did this ATV coffee tour the day after we did the ATV sunset tour in Antigua by the same tour agency - Simoon Rentals and Tours. We could not have asked for a better guide who was so knowledgeable and gave us a full rundown on the coffee making process at the coffee farm Finca La Azotea which was in a beautiful setting in Jocotenango, a town just north of Antigua. Initially after visiting the historic coffee farm we were supposed to go to Cerro de La Cruz but we had already covered that during the sunset tour the previous day, so Daryl was kind enough to instead take us to a busy plaza in San Pedro Las Huertas where we could see a cool communal washing station where people would gather to wash clothes together and trade gossip and we also got to understand the process of mining, refining, and designing jade at a nearby family-run jade shop that is 3 generations strong. The pieces were so beautiful and learning about the jade-making process was so informative that we were happy to support them by buying a few pieces from them and their prices are more than fair and don’t overpriced! The shop is named king brothers jades Munro Maya. If you decide to take this your will not regret your time and money spent and I would highly recommend asking for Daryl to be your tour guide as he’s very kind, informative and speaks English very well :)

Antigua, Guatemala, tours run the gamut. To get your adrenaline pumping, opt for an overnight sunrise summit hike of the Acatenango Volcano to safely view the adjacent—and still highly active—Volcán de Fuego. Not an early riser? Buckle your helmet strap and explore the countryside and its mountain villages via ATV sunset tour. For something more laid-back, take a day tour of Lake Atitlán, join a cooking class and market tour, or learn about the locally-produced chocolate and coffee. Whether adventure-driven or culture-centric, each Antigua tour will give you something to talk about.
