This was worth every penny. What an amazing day exploring Tokyo.
Having someone who genuinely knew the city made all the difference. Everything was easy from the initial booking onward, and our driver struck the perfect balance between offering insights and letting us enjoy each destination. No complicated train journeys, no time wasted figuring out directions, just a brilliant day exploring Tokyo.

We booked a full day private tour with Tokyo Grand Tours and it was easily one of the best days of our trip. Our driver was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable, sharing interesting information between stops while still giving us plenty of time to explore independently.
The vehicle was spotless and extremely comfortable, and the itinerary was flexible without ever feeling rushed. We managed to see far more of Tokyo than we could have done by ourselves. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a relaxed and enjoyable way to experience the city.

Amazing experience, I couldn’t imagine traveling to Tokyo without booking this experience. Richard, my guide, was the perfect man for the job; he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and made the experience better than I could’ve dreamed. 10/10, would book again.

Moshe was incredible. His English was perfect and he took me to all of the places I wanted to see! It is really hot in Japan and he got me very close to the entrances so I wouldn’t get overheated!
I also did a walking tour with Yoko and she was also wonderful! She understood my concerns about the heat and found air conditioned places for breaks. Taking these tours and having English speaking guides was the best decision and really improved my Tokyo experience!

We did the Tokyo tour first and had such a great experience that we ended up booking the Fuji tour too, both days were excellent! The tours were comfortable, relaxed, and a great way to see places we probably wouldn’t have managed as easily on our own !!

This was the perfect way to check out some hot spots in Tokyo! Our tour guide was Oriol and he was great! We really appreciated the him helping us figure out the right itinerary for us. Since we were staying close to one of the stops, we eliminated it from our trip and were able to add time for another. He really went the extra mile to make sure we were having a good time. The vehicle was quality and very well air conditioned. When you are traveling in the summer, this is HANDS DOWN the way to check out sites without having to truck yourself all over the city. It allowed us to see out the windows and take everything in knowing someone else is driving!

Our driver, Oriel, was outstanding. We were with him for two full days and found him to be courteous, attentive and knowledgeable. Oriel, from Barcelona and married to a Japanese woman, was able to provide a unique perspective on Japan.

Moshe was a fantastic guide and driver. He was so personable and shared his vast knowledge of Tokyo with us. Moshe was able to organise the itinerary to suit our needs. Our tour guide Richard was wonderful. He stared the tour off on the right foot by contacting me in advance to find out where we were staying and if there were particular things we wanted to see He picked us up perfectly on time in a beautiful large BMW which was very comfortable. The rest of the day went just as smoothly. We started the day at a large Buddhist Temple, and then went to the Skytree which had amazing views of Tokyo. We asked Richard to take us to the kitchen supply district since we wanted to buy quality knives. He was very helpful in pointing out three shops so we could compare knives and prices. We finished with lunch in one of the posh suburbs. Richard still had more he wanted to show us but my partner was lagging so at our request Richard drove us back to our hotel. At the end of the day we felt that we had really absorbed much of the flavor of Tokyo. Throughout the tour Richard shared his extensive knowledge of Tokyo and Japan. It was a perfect day. We both agreed it was well worth the extra cost for a private guide and will advise our friends traveling to Japan to ask for Richard.
