It was a really amazing tour, we learned a lot about the City that we would have never known thanks to Nikki. She shared a lot of insight about the daily life of students in this district and shared many suggestions on where to eat or go to get the full Shibuya experience. She has incredible knowledge of the Japanese culture and together with her European roots, humor, and knowledge of Tokyo culture she is well versed to guide tourists through town. Renaud was our tour guide and provided excellent service. We wanted a tour that combined culture and shopping with places we wanted to see and ones he could recommend. Renaud to created a 4 hour tour just for us. We were extremely pleased that we saw shrines, shopping locations at our pace. He provided history, interesting facts and proper behaviors/customs at the temples and shrines. We included all these sites in just 4 hours. This was a great experience! Kei and Karen did a great job sharing their knowledge of the local food, restaurants, history and culture. They made an effort to connect with my son as well as myself and were very nice company to have for the evening. It was five stars all around.

She brought the market to life with fascinating insights, great recommendations, and a warm, friendly approach that made the tour both fun and informative. Yuki was fantastic! I booked my tour for a Tuesday afternoon and ended up being the only person for that time. Yuki treated me like a VIP and gave me a great experience! He started at our meeting point telling me about the Shinjuku station and how much the area has been built up since before the 50s to now. Every detail was so interesting! This is my first time in Japan and I stepped out of my comfort zone signing up to do this tour by myself. Yuki made me feel so comfortable and I felt like I was walking around with a friend, not a tour guide. We laughed and joked the whole time. He answered all my questions. When we went to a shrine in the area, he told me what each area was for. When I asked if I could wish/pray at one of the areas, he was more than happy to help me do it right. From cleansing myself with the water, to providing me with a coin, and showing me how to bow and clap properly. It was a beautiful experience. If you’re in Shinjuku or the surrounding areas do yourself a favor and book this tour! Thank you Yuki for being so welcoming and being such an amazing part of my first trip to Japan.

* The Shinjuku food tour was the perfect way to start my trip to Tokyo. I truly felt like we visited authentic shops and had a great variety of food. There’s a decent amount of walking, but the guide Yuta did an amazing job of pacing so the group stayed together as we had a big variation in ages. We took routes to places that jhad us in the back alleys, and unique spaces that give Tokyo it’s character and charm. I felt like this was truly an authentic food tasting experience and highly recommend! If you have a strict diet or aren’t comfortable stepping out of your food zone, this may not be the tour for you, but if you’re adventurous, curious about the world’s best food city, and want to experience food like the locals do, this is perfect for you!

Excellent Tokyo city tour. Yo was very good at explaining the sights of the city. Easy route that was flat. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a good experience in Tokyo. We did it on the first morning after arriving and it gave us a good layout of the city.

An incredible experience! They had a team of people who showed us how to make sushi and provided some history and background. They were enthusiastic which brought the whole experience to life, and our family had an incredible time. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. A definite must for a visit to Tokyo.
