We booked both the history tour (Tom) and the ghost tour (Sarah). We booked last minute and even though it was just our family, they accommodated us. Tom and Sarah both were very informative, entertaining and comical at times in their tours even though covering completely different subjects. You can feel the dedication and passion of these guides while on the tour. I would highly recommend booking both tours! It was a nice contrast between the two but either way you can’t go wrong. Sarah is the owner of the tour business and makes sure you are engaged and enjoying your experience. I can’t wait to visit again and hopefully book another tour with these amazing guides.

Not good. The tour operator was unresponsive to questions and it was hard to find the meeting spot. Then the tour operator refused to take us on the historical tour described and paid for. It was not a TOUR! We walked through a parking lot to a picnic table where we sat freezing. When the actual tour was starting we were told we could not participate because we hadn’t paid?? It was very weird and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Viator did issue a full refund which I appreciate but I wouldn’t prebook this type of tour in the future. It spoiled some of the day and it definitely was a waste of time. We could have been walking around and enjoying the city on our own.

City is overcrowded. No adequate infrastructure. No parking or bathrooms. Tour is full of just stories and things like : “this is the location where someone claims to have seen a ghost in a building that is not even the original anymore (just the general location) . The tour guides I guess try but it’s also very easy to just add yourself to the tour without paying BTW

Tom lead the "wandering witches tour" and was very friendly and interactive with the group. He shared a lot of valuable information about the places we visited. I would recommend this tour because it's informative, easy walking, and fun.
I also went on the "spooky specters tour" later on the same day. The tour guide was a pretty woman with long red hair (I can't remember her name). She was fun, but needs to study a little more about the places we visited to be more informative.

Great experience with Tom on the Wandering Witch Tour. Could have skipped Spooky Spectres tour with Carrie though. She seemed distracted and all about the “energy” instead of the history and stories.

Guides were very nice. The two tours were redundant as they went to the same places and talked about the same things. Neither guide was a talented story teller, and both regressed from history to plug local shops and restuarants. Felt like a mediocre tour with advertisements.

Thom and Devin were so amazing!! My sister and I only had a single day in Salem and wanted to make the most of it, and this did the trick. It was very personable and both your guides were extremely knowledgeable. Even in the rain they had smiles and enjoyed the experience with us! 10/10 Recommend :)

Everything listed on my tickets stated that this was a 1 hour and 45min tour that started at 6:00pm. I got to the meeting spot early like the details stated only to find out that I missed the bulk of the entire tour, and that it actually started at 5:00 despite what was listed on my ticket.
Then when I requested a refund I was told that since I checked in for the end of the tour I wasn’t allowed a refund.

The history and ghost tours were exactly the same route. Just different guides and one was after dark. Not worth doing both. It's better to just do one.

Our tour guide was Kim. She was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the area and history of the witch trials. We enjoyed our tour with her very much. Well worth the money!!

We did the Steps through 1692 with Tom. Thought it would be a little boring, but Tom was a wealth of interesting fun facts about Salem’s History and residents before and during the witch trails. He was super fun and engaging. I Highly recommend this tour.

Both tour guides were very informative. I learned several new things. Tom was very amusing. On the 830 tour I felt a chill up my spine at one point.
