Mike was a phenomenal tour guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, and engaging. I have taken a few Salem tours and I learned so many things from him. He gives information about the Salem Witch trials that no other tour gives. Long story short, this tour is worth it.

We really enjoyed the tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and nice. The tour was a good mix between history and some fun facts and we personally enjoyed the detailed information about Salem‘s history of the witch trials while walking the most important spots.

We had such a great time on the Hocus Pocus Tour in Salem! Michael was very informative and made the experience even better with all of his movie references, it really brought the magic to life. A few tips for future visitors: when they say it’s a walking tour with no bathrooms, they mean it; plan accordingly! You’ll see all of the filming sites from the outside, and if you’d like to go inside some of them, you can pay separately to visit after the tour. Also, note that the tour doesn’t end where it starts, so you’ll need to find your own transportation back to your car. We recommend using the Salem Skipper, it was quick and convenient and less expensive than Uber. Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, especially for Hocus Pocus fans!

Our tour guide John was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Salem and provided us with so much information I don’t think we would have learned anywhere else on our trip. We were very impressed and felt welcomed on the tour. John definitely exceeded our expectations for a ghost tour of Salem-you will not be disappointed!

As a longtime Salem: The Podcast listener, I was so excited to finally experience the Salem Uncovered Tour in person — and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! When I arrived, I was greeted by Tim, who happens to be Jeffrey’s brother. I mentioned that I was a little sad not to have Jeffrey as my guide since I’m such a fan of the podcast, and Tim kindly told me he’d do his best to make sure I met him. Tim was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging throughout the entire tour, sharing dark and fascinating stories about Salem’s history. As we were walking we actually ran into Jeffrey, and Tim made a point to turn us around so I could officially meet him and even ask a question! I was thrilled — and got a quick photo, too! I’m so grateful to both Tim and Jeffrey for going above and beyond to make this experience special. I went with two friends who aren’t podcast listeners (yet), and they loved the tour so much that they said it was their favorite part of our trip — and now they want to start listening to Salem: The Podcast! Overall, I can’t recommend this tour enough. Whether you’re a fan of the podcast or just interested in Salem’s darker history, this is a must-do experience!

Skip the stuffy, crowded tours. These walking tours give you a chance to see what the town has to offer and out-of the-way places that you can go back to later. These walking tours narration, music and navigation ensures you enjoy the tour and don’t get lost. Our paranormal activity meter (included!) indicated ghosts in a shop up the block from the Bewitched statue.

Our tour guide was Anna and she was absolutely wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and clearly loves what she does. She was very energetic and provided some heat history of Salem. She was able to answer all questions and provided options on what we as the group wanted to see. I definitely recommend this tour and tour guide Anna.

A walking tour featuring both the history and ghost stories of Salem was such a fun way to spend our evening in town! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and open to questions (and he was super helpful when we realized we’d accidentally booked our reservation on the wrong night). My family — including our three kids whose ages range from 18-8 — had a great time! One of my boys even took a picture that may have caught some paranormal activity! 👻 I’m so glad we took this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Salem.
