Please be ready at your chosen pickup point 30 minutes before your departure time. Our pickup vehicles are well marked with Reykjavik Excursions logo. In Reykjavik City Center, pick up directly from hotels is not permitted, therefore there are special bus stops within walking distance that are specifically for pickup/drop off for airport transfers and tours. For further information and to find which bus stop you should select for pick up, please enter your accommodation address in the search box of www.busstop.is. Please note, city center hotels aren’t included in the pick up list, you will need to select your closest bus stop number. You decide at the Blue Lagoon on your return time from the Blue Lagoon, here below is the timetable: From Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík: 13:15; 14:15; 16:15; 18:15; (20:15 from June 1.2026).

I Laguna itself is fine and very nice. However, it does. Remind me of a Disneyland tour. It is very commercialized with them trying to sell your gifts and skin care. While we enjoyed ourselves, I think we would’ve preferred a smaller, quieter lagoon.

The blue lagoon experience was great! We had amazing weather, which of course was just luck in mid May. The transportation was good on the way there, but a bit confusing on the way back. From the cruise port they bus you to a bus station. You change busses there and head to the lagoon. When you are ready to leave they have busses every hour. They dropped us back at the bus station, but there wasn't much direction. By then we just wanted to get back to the ship. We took a taxi back instead of waiting for the bus. We had an overnight in Reykjavik, so we weren't pressed for time, we were just ready to get back.

While the Blue Lagoon itself was amazing, the experience with the bus arrangement was a nightmare. Nearly causing us to miss the Blue Lagoon altogether. This was due to one of the busses failing to stop at the designated pickup.

Other than some initial confusion about pick-up location not showing in booking and not receiving a reply from tour operator to messages, the overall experience was awesome. Chat with Viator customer service was excellent snd they provided the needed info. The staff at bus terminal and driver were very friendly and helpful. Experience at Blue Lagoon was amazing. Can’t recommend it enough.

So windy and cold the day we went, thank god the water was hot. Loved the masks and beverages. So happy we got do this excursion and check it off our bucket list!

All 5 of us purchased comfort package. However, when going to leave my 10 yo daughter was stopped and told she owes money for her drink because it is not included with the kids ticket. No where does it say this on the tour listing. In fact it says all comfort tickets receive a complimentary drink. And we were never informed at the bar when we got the drink. Very disappointed.

The blue lagoon was absolutely amazing. I would recommend it 10/10 times if you enjoy spa experiences. The opportunity to sit under the "waterfall" as well as float in the blue lagoon are memories I will treasure. It should be noted that for stop #6, the bus tends to pick up right next to the culture house, not at the bus stop #6.

What an awesome experience to do. The blue lagoon was stunning and was much bigger than I thought it would be. Not too overcrowded and facilities were great. It's a pricey tour but for a once in a lifetime activity I would definitely recommend.

The experience was but I dont recommend buying the tour from Reykjavik Excursions. They are one of the major tour agency and because they carry many people to many places, its like a service bus taking to to collection area (bus station) and then you get on a another service which the drivers and working people make you feel that you are going to a concentration camp. No guidance no, extra benefit. Whatever written already proposed by the blue lagoon. they add their commission and transfer you like a group of salmons from one location to another. I recommend Blue Lagoon but not with tour agency. There is no privilege. Find a boutique tour which will take care of you from pick up to entering the lagoon and return.

I loved this trip. The blue lagoon was gorgeous… the water was so warm and inviting. The only negative was the American ppl that didn’t know how to be quiet in the quiet zones. Other than that it was a delightful experience

Bring flip flops and get ready to relax. If you are taking the bus, give yourself 30 min-45 min to get ready to leave. I would recommend spending no less than 4 hours from time of pick up to your return time.

I didnt enjoy the Blue lagoon, water too hot for me and too difficult to see anything with the steam. You need to bring cheap sunglaases to wear when in lagoon as very bright & hard to see. Good preception glasses could be damaged. Even wear a rimmed cap. I would avoid the free face mask as it difficult to get off. It went in to my eyes and i was blinded for a time as only a trickle of cold water from taps to clean face. Also you wont do more than an hour before taking a break. 2 hrs is enough if booking a time slot

Very easy pickup and transfer to Blue Lagoon. Check in should of been quick but on our visit the IT crashed and took an hour to fix. The staff where excellent dealing with the ever increasing number of guests arriving. However the queue was kept entertained by a staff member telling stories and others passing out free coffee and ice cream.
Once into the lagoon the memory of the glitch was forgotten and a very relaxing experience in unique setting. Truly lucky with temperatures below freezing and clear blue sky enhanced the warm waters of the lagoon. Expensive but well worth it.

Does what it says on the tin, takes you to blue lagoon and back, be aware the bus can leave upwards of 15 mins early so be ready in advance! The blue lagoon itself needs no review it’s what you go for

Good transportation on the way to the lagoon, on the return trip you need to make sure you are in line early enough (bus will fill up). Everything was explained well once we were at the lagoon and day was wonderful. Good experience overall and definitely loved having the additional robe included as well as masks and drinks.

We picked a 15:00/3 PM start time and I really wish we’d gone earlier in the day. That start time is when the bus leaves, we didn’t actually get to the Blue Lagoon until 4:20ish. Then there’s a 5ish minute walk to get to the entrance, you wait in line to enter/check-in, then have to shower and change before getting in the lagoon, etc. And you have to add that time in for when you’re leaving. The latest bus back is at 18:15/6:15 PM. Which means we only had about 45 minutes to an hour actually in the lagoon. It was amazing, we were just very rushed and didn’t get to do everything we wanted there. I’d recommend picking the 13:00/1 PM start time at the very latest for this tour.

The blue lagoon is a fantastic experience but the transfer is not well organised. The first bus had my name on the list, the second bus asked me for a bus ticket. Viator provided me with an excursion ticket. The driver did let us on. Apparently, he made an announcement about the bus times but only people at the front could hear. We were unaware that we could stay as long as we wanted and get a bus back at 15 minutes past the hour. Thankfully someone told us this. The tour shows 4 hours but it's actually as long as you want it to be. Better information required Viator!!

This was a really surreal experience. The temperatures were around zero and the lifeguards were wearing puffer jackets and beanies, but we relaxed in our cosies in mineral water that was close to blood temperature.
The transfers with Icelandia Travel were smooth. Although we had to get ourseleves to the bus station (a short walk) on the outward journey, they took us back to the bus stop to our hotel on the home journey.

Brilliant day. Coach transfers were seamless from Reykjavik. Whole experience was excellent. Bring a waterproof pouch for phone if you want to take photos. Would highly recommend an excellent time.

You wonder how you could spend 3 or 4 hours here but time flys, after a drink and floating around the outside and stopping and having a coffee and a snack, getting your phone to take some snaps and another drink and once more around, it's great.
