Cruise ship pick up: You will find your pickup vehicle at the "Pre booked tours parking" at the Cruise port. There will be a sign in the window of the car with your name on it. The vehicle will be there five minutes before the starting time of the tour.

This is a great trip of the golden circle. It’s private and the guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He gave us a great suggestion for dinner. It would have been helpful if he had a microphone because it was a little hard to hear him in the back of the van. But a wonderful trip and guide.

We took this tour when we disembarked from our Iceland cruise on Windstar cruises. Our guide Bjami was there waiting for us. We had a great day driving the Golden Circle, he gave us information on the sights, told us stories and also took great pictures for us. Wonderful tour!

This was an amazing excursion all due to our guide, Bjarni. He took us to some great stops and was so knowledgeable about not only the stop but the entire countryside. We really enjoyed this excellent tour. Bjarni was a terrific guide- we would highly recommend him and this tour. My husband and I were traveling with another couple. The van was spacious and comfortable. Bjarni used a microphone so it was very easy to hear him. Starting early allowed us to beat the crowds. Big tour buses began pulling in at each stop as we pulled out. The scenery is spectacular and Bjarni helped guide us to the best spots for views and photos. He was quite accommodating, and we stopped when we needed for lunch and restroom breaks. Bjarni narrated the tour with lots of information and funny stories. You won’t be disappointed with this tour!

Absolutely wonderful! Definitely walk around Kerid crater for all the views and take all the paths at Gullfoss waterfall. Every stop has spectacular scenery and you will continually take more photos as the views are all amazing. Our guide had so many stories about Iceland and growing up there and legends and myths, it was fantastic Loved the stories. Highly recommend

I’ve done tours and experiences in the past in Iceland and have found that you essentially follow the same formality.
With a personal tour you can choose how long or shorty you stay somewhere and have the flexibility to add extra stops and see more things than on a larger tour. The guide was so experienced and told stories along the way…worth the money!

We absolutely LOVED this tour! The sites on the Golden Circle were breathtaking. Our tour guide Bijarny purposely went counterclockwise to avoid the crowds. We were SO thankful for this when we had places like Kerid Crater and Thinvillir Park to ourselves. He also took us to the "outdoor bakery" where they bake bread in the volcanic soil, explaining the entire process. While the sites are beautiful, it is Bijarni that made this tour amazing. Within minutes of meeting him, he makes it feel like you've known him for years. He is native to Iceland and one of the best story tellers I have ever met. I would take a tour with Bijarni that went no where, just to drive around with him and listen to his stories. We always book tours when we travel and Bijarni is the best tour guide we've ever had. When we go back to Iceland we will be sure to book all of our tours with Bijarni.

We found our private tour with Bjarni to be very enjoyable and relaxing. He is flexible and has an easygoing demeanour and we never felt rushed or pressured to meet a schedule. You can stay a little longer somewhere or leave earlier. He has been a professional guide for a long time and is very knowledgeable and you can ask as many questions as you like. He also had arranged the order of the tour with certain stops at the right time to minimize competing bus traffic and to provide a lunch or washroom break. We would recommend for a professional private tour.

Long day riding, but worth every minute! Bring your phone/camera with a full battery as there’s lots of photo opportunities and the vehicle’s charging port may not be compatible with your cable.

I booked this for our stay in Reykjavik pre-cruise. Our guide Bjarni picked us up from our hotel on time. His vehicle was very comfortable and clean. His english was very good. He was an excellent guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He let us decide how long we wanted to stay at each stop and was flexible for rest room stops at the places, etc. He was flexible when we said we wanted a stop at one place on the tour for coffee/light snack. He knew the best places to walk/stand for the best photos. We never would have seen as many stops on the cruise in the same amount of time. He was an excellent guide and we really enjoyed our day. I can't say enough good things about him and the tour.

I highly recommend Bjarni, if you're going to spend that much time in a car with a stranger it should be with someone you'd consider a friend at the end of the day! Bjarni is an exceptional guide - extremely knowledgeable about history and folklore. He was prompt picking us up, his vehicle was very clean and comfortable, and he's obviously a competent driver on the road - we relaxed and enjoyed while he took care of the driving! He stayed aware of the weather as we were touring and stayed ahead of the tour buses to enable us to see more of the sights. He also stopped at places he thought we'd find interesting, a tomato farm! a local farm to table lunch. My only regret is that we didn't hire him for the entire trip!

Bjarni was first rate. Excellent tour of the Golden Circle and a great day. A highlight of Iceland. He took us to locations we didn’t even know about like the tomato farm and a farm to table lunch. Perfect option to have guide meet your at ship terminal, spend the day with you and then drive you to your hotel in town. Worth every penny!

Our driver/guide was extremely knowledgeable and told us very interesting stories about Iceland and the various places we visited, as well as the history and folklore. It was great to be able to adapt the itinerary to suit what we wanted to do and how long we wanted to spend in each place.

This private tour was worth the splurge as we avoided large crowds and could stay or leave when we wanted. We covered everything a group bus tour would in less hours. Sights are amazing and our driver/guide Bjarni was outstanding! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend as a treat to yourself especially if you can split 3 ways!
