The show was educational and fantastic. I think the lounge experience everything about it was well planned out and a fun adventure however, I would suggest for the people that paid premium. We thought we were actually going to see him clean the lava up at the end, but it was almost like you didn’t even see anything except for a movie so it would’ve been kind of cool if questions were taken from the people on the premium level other than that it was a great experience

What you saw was indeed real molten lava made from natural lava rock heated to around 1100°C (2000°F). One of the fascinating properties of lava is that it cools extremely quickly when exposed to air, and as it cools, the surface rapidly turns glass-like and solidifies. This transformation is actually part of the demonstration and shows how volcanic glass and rock are naturally formed in real eruptions.
We completely understand the comparison to molten glass, especially in the early cooling stages, and we appreciate your thoughtful question during the show.

The lava show is a worthwhile experience. It takes place in a small theater and takes about 45 minutes. The highlight is clearly getting to be up close.to a lava flow. Pretty rare to be able to experience lava so close in actual volcano, so this the next best thing.

Show was both engaging and informational. You can really feel the heat as the lava flows out. The premium lounge experience is a must do. Especially after traveling from a red eye flight or escaping weather to rest and enjoy the show comfortably.

The host of the show was very knowledgeable about lava. It's a small theater so that wherever you sit you have a good view. You don't have to buy the premium package. The formations it makes when cooling are incredible.

This was a really cool show and very informative. I didn’t think the premium upgrade was worth it. You get to sit upstairs but downstairs looked like they had a better view. The furnace thing is not much to look at. You get a piece of dried up lava as a souvenir, that’s a cool souvenir.

Interesting & very very Educational show. Seeing the lava so up close was surreal. They also teach you a lot about volcanos, and its history.
Glenn did an amazing job explaining and answering all questions that came his way by us regarding the lava and volcanoes. We learned a lot on this.
For all those who love nature or volcanoes this is a must. Where else will you get to see lava so up close?

This was so much fun! We got the premium experience and loved being away from the heat and getting a little bit of extra knowledge and Q&A dropped on us. We liked the show. I had a vip ticket which I recommended if yoibhave asthma or your are agraid of the heat. From the upper floor you don't feel the heat. I like the cocktail and the lava piece souvenir included with this ticket

Great informative show. Glen was very knowledgeable and has a vast interest in volcanos.
It was worth getting the premium package as this includes a lounge area to sit in pre and post show with a bar. You get a free drink on arrival which includes a choice of 4 cocktails that you can take into the show. You sit upstairs on the balcony so a great view and you don’t need to wear safety goggles like the folk sitting downstairs. There is a short extra video at the end showing how they get the lava and you get a piece of lava rock in a velvet pouch to take home.
