Church only opened 15 minutes ahead of time and some seats were already reserved. We were advised to sit in the middle of the church for best acoustics.
SHERRY_C, May 2026
Wonderful artists including a tenor and a soprano, both superb. The organist created a magical experience. Highly recommend.

The Concert on Mat 13 th at the St. Francis Assisi church
was a great opportunity as a musician myself. I was very interested in knowing that Mozart and Dvorak played in this historical organ.
The Soprano singer, Zuzana Kos Koprivova
has so attractive soothing voice.

It's was very nice, great musicians and performance. Interesting program and beautiful cathedral. Much recommended.

It was an amazing experience. And once you hear that organ playing Bach in this amazing church... It gets you deep! One word of advice - get there early to get a good sits! And if it is winter - make sure you have warm clothing.

This was a beautiful concert in a lovely church. The singer and musicians were a joy to listen to and the acoustics were fantastic. My only complaint was that the seats were not very comfortable but that's not a big surprise in such an old building (I was seated in a pew but there were also modern seats set up)

Lovely way to wrap up the evening after a long day of walking. The location is lovely - a beautiful, historic church adjacent to the Charles Bridge. Music was beautiful
Susan_W, Oct 2025
Excellent. A must to attend. Soprano was amazing with Angel like voice. The flutist and organist were flawless in their performance
DIMITAR_A, Sep 2025
Great barocco ambiance, great choice of music, high level of players performance and really unique concert. I visited 3 similar shows in the Old Prague (incl. Sv Mikulas), this one is on the top of my ranking. Very solid!

Beautiful church and amazing concert. Lucie Laubova -soprano is very talented, looked effortlessly preforming, has amazing voice. Tenor Dusan Ruzicka , and organ Marketa Smejkalova were amazing as well. And all three of them created an incredible experience.

or a first time experience I was looking for some known symphonies as part of the program. They also had marquee composer names as part of the program. While the 3 artists where wonderful and talented, we couldn’t appreciate not relate to the program and did not enjoy it.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Dear Jignesh, we are sorry you didnt find your "cup of tea" at our concert.
St Francis church is too small for an symphonic programme, even for chamber orchestra,. But as we have oldest Prague playable organ here, we present organ concert with two more soloists since 1993, in order to present this charmy space by its natural accoustic and baroque performance sound
Susan_K, Apr 2025
beautiful hour long organ concert with mezzo soprano and flute in gorgeous setting; get there 15 minutes early for best seats
Izzi_R, Apr 2025
It was a wonderful experience. The musicians are very talented. Give it a go whether you love classical music or want a little taster.

Beautiful music in a beautiful setting played by an organist, trumpet player, and soprano. Highly recommend this experience while in Prague.
Cynthia_H, Oct 2024
The trumpeter and soprano soloists were great! The organist never once played the full organ with full bass; it felt like she was always holding the instrument back. The layout of the sanctuary is such that you cannot see the performers well at all, even though we were supposedly given the "best seats."
The next day we attended a concert at the St. Salvator Church, which was tremendous (full organ, chamber musicians, superb soprano soloists, beautiful program)!
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Dear Cynthia,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the trumpeter and soprano soloists! We’re sorry to learn that the organ performance did not meet your expectations in terms of fullness of sound, and we appreciate your feedback on this matter, as well as on the visibility from the seats.
The church’s unique layout does present certain challenges, and while we strive to reserve the best seats available for all online bookings, we understand that the experience can vary. We hope you still took away some enjoyable memories from your evening at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Thank you again, and we wish you many more wonderful musical experiences not only in Prague!

Marketa was a great guide in explaining the history of Prague and how Europe evolved over the years. She provided us information and listened to and answered any questions we had. We had a great lunch where we were able to talk with our fellow travelers and enjoy a beer.
Stephanie_D, Oct 2024
Musicians were amazing. Church is magnificent. The required number of characters is frustrating. I have added the comments I wanted.
Mary_W, Sep 2024
The concert was awesome! The church was lovely and the concert could have not been more enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Luiza_K, Sep 2024
Both the organ and flute players, accompanying the mezzosoprano , were amazing. Faultless interpretation of the whole repertorio, especially the Ave Marias.
Steven_P, Sep 2024
Wonderful performance by top artists, incredible ambience in the beautiful baroque St. Francis adds to the experience. The ancient organ is amazing and along with marvelous vocalist and violin this is a concert not to be missed. Enjoyable repertoire spanning baroque and classical periods with some Dvorak thrown in.
Laurra_O, Aug 2024
When the organ was played loudly. I felt the soprano had a weak voice and having her sing from the balcony made it difficult to hear her. And the organist needed to play very quietly so as not to drown her out. For the last two songs, she sang at audience level with the violinist, which was far better. That is a big church to fill with music.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Thank you for your feedback and for attending our concert. We’re glad you enjoyed the final pieces when the soprano performed closer to the audience, and we appreciate your perspective on the balance between the organ and the soloist in such a large space. Your comments are valuable to us as we work to enhance the experience for all our guests.
Seamus_M, Aug 2024
The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly and helpful they advised us on the best seats to sit in so we could see the performance.
I made a mistake in our booking date and Viator were very helpful and accommodating in allowing us to change our booking at short notice.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Thank you for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the atmosphere and found our team helpful in arranging the best seats for you. We're also glad that the booking adjustment worked out smoothly. We hope to welcome you back to another concert in the future!
Morag_I, Jul 2024
Very good performance by all. A good variety of compositions to show the talents of the artists. Stunning church as well
Wendyle_A, Jun 2024
The concert itself was fine. There were actually only 3 organ solos on the concert. The rest of the hour concert was organ and vocals. The vocalist were fine, but nothing spectacular, however the organist was fantastic! Take it or leave it kind of event for me.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the organist's performance, but we regret that the concert did not fully meet your expectations. Our concerts often feature a combination of organ solos and vocal performances, and we appreciate your perspective on the balance of the program.
Antoinette_S, Jun 2024
The church was a beautiful venue for the organ concert. The trio of performers were excellent! The church was very crowded and yet the audience was very reverent.
valentin_g, May 2024
Nice combination of chamber orchestra music, vocal classical fragments (tenor and soprano) and church organ pieces.
Max_R, Apr 2024
All musicians were superb. Compositions were perfectly selected and matched the ambience of the church.
Geoff_D, Dec 2023
The church was spectacular and the concert was very nice. Perfect length at about an hour. Venue was cold, but that’s expected in an old church at night in December. Dress warmly!
Carolyn_L, Oct 2023
Panis Angelicus was fabulous. It would have been better if the violin and soloist were on the stage instead of in the balcony where we couldn't see them even though our seats were good.
Susan_M, Oct 2023
The concert was wonderful! A violinist and mezzo soprano performed, as well as the organist. What a treat!
