It moves very fast and you are not allowed much time to look at the exhibits. Very easy to get separated from tour guide without a flag.

Tour didn't meet my expectations. I expected to see the most popular pieces of art, and certainly the Mona Lisa as indicated in the tour name - that happened. Our time was limited so I expected a fast-paced tour and highlights. Instead, our guide stopped at a few select pieces of art (perhaps his favorites) and went into an in-depth explanation of each. That didn't leave much time for "highlights".

Tour is a little over rate, only benefit is you skip the line, but the guide did a good job but is not even enough time to check 1/4 of the museum

great intro to an amazing place
no way to cover the museum in a single day but this was a great intro & "scratching at the surface"
our guide was beyond knowledgeable and gave great intro of the history of building/location/origins
if truly want to take it all in, you'll probably need a few days but perfect for the novice art history lover

Sandra was our tour guide and extremely knowledgeable having studied European history in Spain and Italy. She was engaging, passionate, entertaining, knowledgeable, polite and professional. This was a great way to see the Louvre and hit the highlights. My husband and I were traveling, had a quick stop in Paris and wanted to see the Louvre, as we had never been. This tour popped up on Viator with an opening time that worked for us. Our group only had about 12 people in it and the headset made it pretty easy to hear the tour guide. The museum was so crowded because it was Monday and apparently all other museums were closed, so maybe don't pick Monday if you have the choice. Sandra was our tour guide and she had an excellent fund of knowledge and kept up with our group, explained the history of the museum, and was overall just great! After 2 hours, I was beat, so was glad that was the time limit of the tour. There is so much to see but this was worth the time and money.
