It’s full day and might seem pricey but it’s the most enjoyable wine tour we’ve ever experienced. Robert and Rebecca are just the most knowledgeable and gracious hosts you could imagine. The two wineries were at the extremes. One hundreds of years old, family owned and small. The other is newish and high tech. Both gave great tours and fabulous wine with healthy pours. At the end there is wonderful surprise lunch. If you’re going to book a tour, this is the one. Thank you so much Rebecca and Robert!

This must be one of the best wine tours we have ever been to.
Robert and Rebecca have been very generous with their knowledge and time. The choice of wineries that we visited are smaller, family-type wineries. Which worked out well for us, as this was the local wine experience that my wife and I desired. Lunch was amazing, and after lunch the weather was good enough for us to go to a nearby vineyard to pick grapes. A superb and unforgettable experience and a must-try for anyone who wants to know more in-depth about La Rioja and its wines!

We went with our two daughters and had a great time. Robert was very knowledgable throughout the trip. We learned a lot about the region and the Rioja wine making in addition to tasting some great wines. The lunch excursion to Laguardia was also really interesting.

This was an amazingly detailed and educational tour: 6 people - very intimate and allowed for great dialogue and discussion. Roberto and Rebecca (and their awesome dog, Taino) were fantastic hosts. Felt we left having learned much more than we expected. Have been on 'wine tours' before but in retrospect, they were just day-drinking excursions. This was an opportunity to meet wine makers in their element and have one-on-one discussions all the while enjoying beautiful environs and better wine. Couldn't recommend this more.

This wine tasting experience was nothing short of amazing. Rebecca, Peter, and Robert are so accommodating, and they provided an approachable introduction to Spanish Rioja wines. The vineyards they selected were well rounded and provided a look into the old ways of making wine and how wine is made today. I would do this tour over and over again. By the end of the day the entire group felt like like family.

Great tour! Rebeka picked us up at the hotel, and we visited a number of great locations. First, we checked out wine caves and learned how wine had been made several hundred years ago. From there we then went to a newer winery and learned about barrels and how they impact taste, and even made our own little mixes. We then did a blind taste test, which was a lot of fun! Lunch was good and Rebeka was a great guide, as was her husband Robert. Overall great time and very fun and informative experience!

We had a brilliant day with Rebecca and Roberto! They took us to 2 different wineries and then out for a lovely lunch in beautiful Laguardia! After lunch we did some more delicious wine tasting and learnt a lot about wine making in the Rioja area. Rebecca and Roberto were both so friendly and easy to talk to! It was a perfect day! Wineries and vineyards visited were great with winemakers spending plenty of time answering questions. Robert provided lots of interesting and entertaining information on Rioja wines and the region's history. Lunch stop and tour of Laguardia was fascinating too. Enjoyed the unhurried approach.

Robert gave a great personalized day out in Rioja that was more than just drinking wine and eating food, but learning the history, culture and wine of the region. We could not have strung together a better valued experience if we had tried to do the planning ourselves.

The personalized winery selection and hand picked varieties of it was on point, despite limited availability due to my tour being on a Sunday when most family owned wineries close.
The 16th century cave stored traditional way of winemaking in the first winery was amazing. The home cooked lunch with wine at the 2nd winery was just so fantastic. Our guide Rebecca was very personable, knowledgeable, and explained things to us in a easy and friendly manner.

Our guide was delightful. She made the day just what we had hoped it would be. Our only criticism was the lunch. We expected either a full or fixed menu type lunch or a great tapas bar. Instead, she took us to some cheap, nondescript joint where the tapas choices were small and the quality was almost inedible. Whoever made them buried it all in mayonnaise and what was cooked revealed they knew nothing about cooking. Was this place her choice or Viator's choice? In hindsight, we should have insisted on another place. I suggest you do so.
