Omare is a small venue opposite the market. We were made very welcome. There was only 4 of us, but each had a turn to prepare and cook the meal. Instructions were clear in a friendly manner. 7 courses were amazing. Some well known, others not so. Really recommend. 3 hours of food and wine requires stamina. Value for money we thought.

Great cooking class! I attended solo and was a little nervous at first, but there was nothing to worry about. The yummy appetizers and wine made me feel comfortable. By the end, I was so full it felt like I had eaten a full-course meal. The most fun part was making some international friends in the class!!

We had a great time and the food was amazing. Chef Mily and helper Amelia were wonderful and took great care of us. We loved meeting other classmates and learning about Spanish cuisine. This was definitely one of the highlights from our trip.

This was a fun experience. You don’t cook as much as I originally thought you would. There’s one meal being made and the guests take turns doing some segments of the meal. The meson plus (meal prep) has been done in advance, so you don’t learn how to prepare the food. 3 weeks later I am yet to receive the recipe for what we did to be able to practice at home. That said, it was a fun evening with excellent hosts, and it was nice meeting the others who had selected this activity.

Absolutely amazing experience. Great way to talk and meeting new people while learning new cooking experiences and styles. We got to learn and cook paella and observe others make many other dishes. We left stuffed and had a great time.

My wife and sister - who normally shy away from the kitchen - came away saying this was the most fun they had during our visit to Mallorca. There were ten participants (including our party of four), representing by my count a half dozen different countries. Three staff were on hand to assist us with cooking each course. The true joy of the experience was the cross-cultural conversations (despite differences in language) while drinking copious amounts of wine before, during, and after preparation of the meal. If you are seeking a deeply authentic and meaningful connection with people from other cultures and backgrounds while preparing and enjoying real Mallorcan food, you need to do this!

Excellent in many ways 1.. Andreas, our host, strove constantly to assure that all guests felt at home. In addition to Spanish he speaks English, German and Dutch. This was useful for group of mostly Germans, also one Austrian and one American. 2. two professional chefs instructed the group (12 people) how to prepare a traditional Spanish meal: tortilla and paella as main courses along with tapas and appetizers and eventually dessert. It was optional whether we chose hands on participation vs simply observing. The dishes were all quite tasty, nobody left hungry and our culinary repertoire has grown. 3. the wine glasses were never empty. 4 The 3-4 hr program was thoughtfully put together to maximize our learning 5 a nice group of people (unknown to each other) attended and it worked out well. All in all it was an experience I’d love to repeat, especially if a different (or slightly more challenging) menu is offered,
