The Portuguese Cooking Class with Beatrix is not to be missed. Bea was well prepared, taught us every step of the way, not only about what we were cooking, but also about the history. Informative and fun. The meal was exquisite! Bea is down to earth and a great chef and teacher. We Highly recommend for every level! Thank you Bea! Maria, Carmen, and Tera will never forget their incredible experience!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Lisbon Affair cooking class! Elsa was an excellent chef and instructor—patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing her culinary expertise. She made the entire experience enjoyable and engaging.
We learned so much about the different Portuguese dishes we prepared, including the techniques and tips needed to make them authentic. The wine was also excellent and complemented the experience perfectly. The other participants were friendly and added to the fun, making it a wonderful opportunity to cook, learn, and connect with others.
I highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting Lisbon! Whether you love cooking or simply want to experience Portuguese cuisine in a fun and interactive way, this class is a must-do. I would absolutely take this class again!

This was the best cooking class ever…. The staff was amazing and the menu was spectacular.. cheese selection with wine (lots of wine) while we prepared the meal. Followed by soup, cod fritters (my description), rice with shredded duck baked with chorizo slices followed by a delectable dessert topped with plum sauce.. simply delicious!!
The group worked well together.. a good time by all!

Chef Maham is a very experienced chef who walked us through a fun and informative preparation of a traditional Portuguese dinner.. my wife and I both cook a lot, but learned a few new tricks and enjoyed an evening of conversation, cooking and feasting.

Our favorite experience of our honeymoon trip! Patricia and Elsa made us feel so comfortable cooking the new dishes, it felt as if cooking with family. They provided great stories and details about Portuguese culture and cuisine and the wine was fantastic as well. A very welcoming and friendly experience, and sitting down to eat the food we made and converse with them was one of our favorite meals of the whole trip. Could not recommend this enough!

This tour was cancelled by the host. Unable to review but I haven’t gotten my refund for this class yet
Such a fun experience! We cooked a 3 course meal, and the work was divided among the four of us (really the only way to accomplish this in a reasonable timeframe). Our chef-guide was very patient with my teenage daughter as she made her first ever custard. If you're interested in learning about & sampling some traditional Portuguese dishes, I highly recommend this tour!

We had a great time with Bruno visiting the market and preparing a meal. He was friendly and engaging. However, I wish the menu was a bit more interesting and tasty - the finished product was good but not great.
Enjoyed the space and the learning process. However the food was average. Chef was polite and educational.
Wonderful evening of drinking wine, cooking and eating! Carlos was great host. There were four of us on a weekday evening and the intimacy made the night special.
This was one of the best experiences I have ever had traveling! Carlos was an excellent teacher and human being.
My son suggested that we do this cooking class. It was a great experience and very fun. The chef Flavio was very nice, welcoming. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and cooking style of the Portugal people (he was from Brazil). We were in a group of 5 including my son and me. The other three guests (family) were great. Very friendly people which made the evening great. After we prepared our meal Flavio ate dinner with us.
It was a fun environment! Our cooking instructor works as a chef at a one star Michelin restaurant. The food and group were great!
This cooking class was amazing from start to finish. Hannia welcomed us with cheese, meat & bread as well as wine and other drinks. Maham explained everything thoroughly and made it a laid back & comfortable experience for all ages. They walked us through prep and cooking steps, and went above and beyond to show us how to use different appliances and how we can cook the meal at home. Lastly, both ladies served us and made us feel at home. I would recommend this cooking class for all ages and levels of experience!!! Can’t say enough good things about it. It was the most memorable part of my stay.
This was a very nice evening. We cooked a traditional Portuguese meal, and everything was delicious. It's a very hands-on experience, great food, great wine, great hosts.
Highly recommend, we would do this cooking class again.
This cooking class was absolutely a blast. Wine and cooking what more could you ask for. Truly was one of our favorite things we did in Portugal. Bruno was so knowledgeable and picked a delightful traditional meal to teach us that we definitely will do at home. You will not be disappointed.
The provider could not honor my timeframe. Hence, I could not go and was to be canceled from the trip.

As previously communicated, our classes require a minimum of two participants. At the time of your rebooking, you were the only participant after your friend Kim cancelled. This policy is clearly stated in our reservation details, so guests are aware of this possibility when booking as a single participant. We did our best to offer alternative options, although we understand that none of them suited your plans. In light of this, we proceeded with a full and immediate refund.
While we respect that you may feel disappointed, we are saddened by the review, as we made every effort to handle the situation fairly and transparently.

What a great experience! There were 3 of us in the class, so it was very intimate. The chef, Marcia (?) unsure of the spelling, answered all our questions and provided history behind the dishes.
This was a laid back and fun experience. Marcia was great and had a wealth of information about the cusine and culture of Portugal.
Creating culinary delights with Marcia was such a treat. We two were her only guests and our lunch turned out very well. Marcia is a patient, encouraging, easygoing and fun chef. We really enjoyed the experience. Thank you.
Our chef was very knowledgeable, told us about the local fair, the seasonal vegetables. It was more of a friend who celebrated with us this wonderful experience.
What a great way to end our time in Portugal! Flavio was a great teacher and chef and this was so much fun for our teenage daughters, my wife, and I. We learned a ton and tried Portuguese food that we wouldn’t have ordinarily tried! 100% recommended!
Flavio was a joy to cook with - very informative about what we were cooking and a very pleasant personality. We learned a lot about Portuguese cooking and had a great time. Highly recommend this tour!

I felt like the energy was very low and hostile. There were a lot of dishes shown but we did not make. The food we did make was very good but wasn’t too fun of a class.

We enjoyed our experience cooking with a traditional experience with a group of other tourists. Our host was very knowledgeable in Portuguese traditions and foods. It does take some time to prepare and cook the food, so plan to eat a few hours after the cooking experience starts.
