Once you have booked you will be sent the pre tour guidebook, which gives an insight to the histories of Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, Linderhof and Herrenchiemsee Castles. A few weeks before your tour you will be sent your official entrance tickets to Neuschwanstein Castle. Once you are on site just head to the Castle entrance with your ticket. A quick ticket check and you are in. There is a screen which advises the entrance time for your specific tour which is printed on you entrance ticket. When everyone in your group has entered each room the individual audio tour begins. Each group enters and leaves each room together. The audio content explains the contents of each room thoroughly. There are numerous narrow stair ways to negotiate and these maybe troublesome to those with disabilities. This is a must do tour if you are visiting this area. There is also a video presentation at the end of the tour which is interesting.
