The ticket pickup was super easy but they changed the time on us and we had to hurry to make it. This time change was last minute, like 30 minutes before when we arrived to pick up tickets this was a change. Also, if you can buy direct from the castle, tickets are 21 euro vice us paying ~$50 usd. The ticket pickup is also 15 minutes from where you start walking or taking a shuttle.
Such a beautiful castle to visit. My only concern was the shuttle bus up. If you get motion sickness, take the walk up. It was a very windy road and the driver was fairly confident in those turns. Other than that, the tour itself was amazing. While you can't take pictures in the castle itself, the balcony offered stunning views which you could take pictures from.
Read the product before you book and make sure to arrive at pick up point as advised! We got delayed a few minutes due to traffic from Munich, but made it to the castle entrance on time. Communication between our host and us was superbe. I definitely recommend!
