Wonderful Cruise and Excellent Driver, A Few Issues with Other Passengers

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The atmosphere on the water was serene, beautiful, and relaxing, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Our pickup at the Zimbabwe–Zambia border was handled by "Jonathan", who was an absolute pleasure to have as our driver. He was courteous, patient, professional, and very accommodating. He did his best throughout the journey to make everyone comfortable and handled an unfortunate situation with great professionalism. Unfortunately, a few other tourists on our transfer caused significant delays. They were already late for the pickup and then, after the cruise, took approximately another 30 minutes to return to the vehicle because they had been drinking. Once they boarded the van, they were extremely loud, screaming, singing, and behaving in a way that made the journey very uncomfortable for the rest of us. We appreciated that Jonathan tried his best to manage the situation and even apologized to us. I told him that I understood that it was difficult for him to control the behavior of passengers, but that I would encourage him to report the incident to his employer so that similar situations can hopefully be prevented in the future. Some people travel with children, elderly family members, or simply expect a peaceful and respectful transfer after an enjoyable excursion. We also chose not to confront the passengers ourselves because they were clearly intoxicated, and for obvious safety reasons, we felt it was better to remain quiet. This issue did not take away from the beauty of the cruise itself, which was wonderful, peaceful, and highly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the cruise, and I would especially like to recognize Jonathan for his patience, professionalism, and efforts to make the experience as comfortable as possible despite circumstances beyond his control. Hopefully, the operator can put measures in place to ensure that intoxicated and disruptive passengers do not negatively affect the experience of other guests in the future.

The flight was absolutely amazing over the fall. Definitely a better perspective up with an aerial view. The only problem we had was there was quite a confusion on the pick up. I was picked up earlier than originally told then when we got there, we had to wait. There was a problem choosing which helicopter we had to wait for other people. Should be better organized with the transfer situation.

The whole experience was wonderful! From pick-up/drop-off, to crossing the border into Botswana, to the actual safari itself, everything was seamless. Cobra, our safari guide, was excellent. We saw so many cool animal sightings that day, it was easily our favorite day of our trip.

What an incredible river cruise! The breathtaking sunset was absolutely magical, and seeing hippos, crocodiles, and so many beautiful birds made the experience truly unforgettable. Overall, it was such a fulfilling and memorable experience, and I would highly recommend it! The only small disappointment was that I didn’t receive the vegetarian snack option I had requested.

Best sunset boat ride on the river

Wow is all I can say. We paid for the signature deck and it was plush and special. Our table was already assigned so no fighting over seats. The seats we had were comfy couches. We had a designated waitress and she kept the drinks coming. There were 8 different food offerings that came one at a time as we cruised along. They brought individual portions of each food item to each person at our table. All we had to do was enjoy, and we did. The view from the top deck was fantastic. After the boat ride we had a wonderful outdoor dinner along the waterfront. This activity was a highlight of our trip. We took another dinner boat ride with a different company after this as part of a package and were surprised and disappointed by the difference (uncomfortable seats, minimal snacks, limited bar, small size, too many people). Not all sunset boat rides are the same and this one is top notch. This is the one you want and get the signature deck, it’s worth it.

This is truly a not to be missed experience. It’s definitely not an inexpensive thing to do, but I highly, highly recommend it.Everything was handled very professionally. We loved our flight. We got an incredible photos. We were the last flight of the day at 5 o’clock in August and the light was awesome.

This activity is a MUST in Victoria Falls. The views are stunning, the food is delicious, and a chance at animal sightings is a plus! While on this excursion, I saw hippos, monkeys, warthogs, and elephants. The sunset views were spectacular! If you get chilly once the sun sets, just ask for a blanket. Lastly, upon arrival to the loading dock, there's a $12 USD fee per participant that can be paid by either cash or card.

Beautiful with Fees

Our tour guy in Zimbabwe, "Ceelo," went out of his way to take pictures for our tour group, same thing for our tour guide in Zambia, "Dell." Beautiful overall experience, but be aware of two fees that you will have to pay. On the Zimbabwe side, there was an onsite fee of $116 USD and on the Zambia side, there was an onsite fee of $25 USD. When immigrating from Zimbabwe to Zambia, have your passport ready because you will have to show it several times. The immigration transfer from Zambia to Zimbabwe took a little longer, so just be prepared.

Chobe Botswana Tour

Amazing experience to Botswana. We were picked up promptly from our hotel in Livingstone Zambia and were transported to the Botswana border which was about 1 hour along the Mosi-Oa Tunya National Park route. Once we arrived at the Botswana border, we were able to get our passports stamped and then transfer to a safari vehicle where we completed the land safari portion of the tour. On the land safari, we were able to see lots of impalas, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and different species of birds. We followed up with a delicious lunch in Kasane Botswana in a village which was so cool. We then went on the river safari portion of the tour which was my favorite. I got to see so many animals up close on the Chobe River including crocodiles, birds, and herds of elephants swimming in the Chobe River. An amazing tour from beginning to end.

Everything listed In their description was 100% accurate. Pick up at hotel. Help at the boarder crossings. Amazing river cruise. Amazing buffet lunch. Amazing wildlife sightings. Very knowledgeable guides. I know you can’t predict where the animals will be, but it’s like we didn’t even have to try and we got to see baboons, elephants, warthogs, antelope, impalas, hippos, water buffalo, lions, giraffe, guinea hens, and even a python. We even witnessed 3 lions hunt and kill a water buffalo. It was incredible.

We booked the long flight and in beautiful weather we had excellent view of the falls, as well as savanna, we have even seen some giraffes, buffalos and elephants. Everything was well organized and went smoothly, we recommend using Chicopocopo helicopters to all travelers.

A day worth planning!

An absolutely fabulous day! Hotel pick up, one hour drive to Botswana border with help from the guides to get you through immigration which is fairly quick and then 1/2 day land tour - excellent lunch at a beautiful lodge Mowana - and then 1/2 day on water. From pick up to drop off roughly 11 hours. Of course it’s the animals that make the safari and they really showed up for us today we saw soooooo much loads of giraffe elephants crocodiles on and on ✨ special thx to the crew Philip Walter and Chopta you guys rocked the day and our time with you tyssm :) side note: pls have the necessary visa to enter Botswana or else it holds up the entire group while they process you on site 👍🏻
