This was an excellent experience and a highlight of my time in South Africa. The Maropeng Museum presents the story of human origins in an engaging and easy-to-follow way, and the Sterkfontein Caves were fascinating to explore. Fabulous safari experience

I only had 1 free day in/around Johannesburg so I booked this full day tour. Communication from the minute I made the reservation and all throughout the whole experience was spot on. The driver Sibu called when he was a few minutes from pick up & was pleasant, courteous and helpful. My safari guide for the day was Martin and he was both knowledgeable about the park and all the animals there and made the day fun for a jeep full of strangers. We sadly didn’t get to see any lions but managed to see tons of all the other animals on everyone’s lists. The provided lunch was both delicious and in a beautiful spot with a great breeze and views. As a solo older woman I would 100% recommend this experience.

Highly recommend this half day tour

Our tour was a really good way of learning more about the history and hardships of the people of South Africa. We only had a day in Johannesburg so this tour was perfect! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had. Parts of the tour are incredibly sad but it is essential to learn what happened. Can highly recommend this tour.

My first time at a safari...

My first time at a safari and it was a thrilling experience spotting all the different animals in their natural habitat. We saw 3 out of the big 5 - elephant, lion and rhino - and a bunch of others. I'm writing this review after also visiting Chobe National Park and I found that the animals in Pilanesburg tended to be further away in the distance and required some sharp eyes to spot. Appreciated my sharp-eyed guides and fellow travellers who made this a fun experience.

I had a fantastic tour today with Pasor, exploring Johannesburg, Pretoria, Soweto, and the Apartheid Museum. He is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced guide, and you can really tell he’s passionate about what he does. He was also very reliable and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The tour was very well organized and insightful, especially visiting Soweto and the Apartheid Museum, which gave a deeper understanding of South Africa’s history and culture. It was great that all admission fees were already included in the package, making everything completely hassle-free. The tour was also the perfect length, enough time to properly explore each place and museum without ever feeling rushed. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Johannesburg and Pretoria in a meaningful and well-guided way!

What a great experience!

The Lion Park was worth every penny! If you’re able to go on a feeding day it makes the trip that more spectacular and exciting. I got to witness 3 feedings (Lions, Cheetahs and African Dogs), other encounters included black leopard, Ostrich, Giraffes (which I got to feed), lots of other animals.

A must-see from Johannesburg!

Wow! Just wow! Logistics getting out to Kruger were wonky, but the great customer service efforts made it work for me. Once there, the arrival at the glamping tents and subsequent 4 hrs evening tour were awesome! Dinner afterwards was scrumptious! Next day 9hr day tour (like 350 kilometers!) with breaks for breakfast and lunch, was even more outstanding. The close-ups of all the animals and how many different ones we saw were SO amazing! The mountains! The views! MJ was the day tour guide and he was terrific and SO knowledgeable! I can't say enough great things. In two days you see the min, but wish there was a 3 day option. But two days good, you see the animals you have dreamt of!

A meaningful day - not worth missing

This tour/programme is a very well-organised and packed one. You will have a long and busy day, but at the end of the day you will be full of sense of pleasant satisfaction and you will say 'It was worth doing that'. Our guide, Thapelo was a perfect guide. He was helpful, well-organised, concentrated. He provided a lot of information, kept time strictly (it was needed because of the number of visited sites). We got everywhere in time and had everywhere enough time to enjoy the sites. If you are interested in or want to be involved into the history and culture of South Africa, or to understand why South Africa is like as it is today, this tour is a perfect choice. Highly recommended.
