Great tour

We were met by Sonia at the train station. She had a cab ready to take us up the hill into the city. We visited all the places we wanted, her history was informative and personality engaging. Educated is about art, history and architecture We visited sites in Jewish quarter and Cathedral. Train from Madrid was very easy and cheap. Not worth paying for transportation Take the taxi up and walk down. The walk up would be semi arduous if not in good shape. If you get Sonia, then you will have a great day

Title: Ask for Lidia — the best tour of our Spain trip

Our private tour of Toledo with Lidia was excellent — the best we've had on our trip through Spain. Her knowledge of Spanish history is incredible: she brought the events and figures of each century to life with vivid detail, and inside the cathedral she gave us exactly the context we needed to truly appreciate each work of art and the architecture around it. The private format gave us a full taste of Toledo at our own pace. You get what you pay for with a private tour — and we highly recommend asking for Lidia by name for any tour in Toledo.

exceptional tour guide and driver!

Natalia and Javier were both wonderful… Natalia took us on an off the beaten path tour of Toledo and she was a wonderful guide. We especially liked the ssecret entrance to the rooms below a house and discussing its possible origins. She was so knowledgable and paced the tour to our group. The Mazapan treats were very good and we ended up buying more! Javier was ready to pick us up evenb though it was an hour earlier than planned as we had already enjoyed such a terrifc full day and it was time to dodge the crowds!

Best Tour Guide in Toledo

When visiting Toledo I believe it is very important to go with a guide. There is so much history to know and learn and simply walking the streets on your own you cannot understand and know what the history is. We were so fortunate to be able to have Javier (Javi) as our tour guide. He gave us incredible information that is not told elsewhere. He was so incredibly polite and personable. If you are visiting Toledo I cannot recommend Javi more to give you a personal tour. Whether in a large group or just a couple he will make you feel as if you are one on one as he will give everyone personal attention and answer any questions and tell any details. He has been in the tourism business working since 2008 and even longer as this is his family business and he understands how to make your visit the best possible. We leave Toledo with a new friend for life!
