Why Choose a Winter Sleigh Ride at Metsapiiga Talu? At Metsapiiga Talu, our winter sleigh rides are more than just an activity—they’re a journey into tradition and tranquility. Unlike other experiences, our sleigh rides are designed to connect you with Estonia’s rich cultural heritage, offering a glimpse into how our ancestors once traveled through snowy landscapes. What sets us apart? Our farm is nestled in a peaceful, picturesque countryside, far from the bustle of the city. The experience is fully immersive, with the jingling of sleigh bells, the soft whispers of nature, and the warmth of our well-cared-for horses guiding you through the snowy trails. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, family fun, or a unique adventure with friends, this is an activity you won’t find everywhere. Top it off with warm hospitality, photo opportunities, and optional refreshments to make your visit truly special. Create magical memories that will leave you smiling long after the snow melts!

What sets horseback riding at Metsapiiga Talu apart is the personal, immersive experience in nature combined with our hands-on approach. Unlike many other riding experiences, we offer guests the chance to participate in grooming and preparing their horse, creating a deeper bond before the ride even begins. Our scenic trails take you through the stunning Jõgevamaa countryside, offering breathtaking views, serene forests, and open fields. We begin with a thorough safety briefing, ensuring that all riders, regardless of experience level, feel confident and secure. The entire experience, including the safety briefing, horse preparation, and ride, lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours. With small group sizes, we provide personalized attention, making this more than just a ride—it’s a memorable, intimate adventure in nature.
