Best use of a full day
It’s great to get the benefit of a guided day trip with local stories and shared memories observations. The sights and sounds were all interesting as was the safety and security provided by Rabbies. The driver was Peter from Glasgow, he was very very skilled and fun to be around. His experience at being a host for the day was exceptional.

A must for Outlander and Monty Python fans
Douglas was a great host! This is a great trip to fill in some of the lesser known/not as popular gaps in your itinerary. Doune Castle was a highlight, a must for fans of Outlander or Monty Python. We fitted in a lot of stops, on a well planned route by Discover Scotland. Great craic!

The best tour and the best driver up to Inverness
The timber Bush tour that goes all the way up to Loch Ness and Inverness, passed Fort Augustus, is near nearly 400 miles long and takes nearly 13 hours. It is worth every moment if you have a driver/guide as good as David. On May 16, 2026, we had David as a driver who is punctual, efficient, humorous, and unfailingly, charming. He gave fascinating accounts of history, art, individual kings and queens, and pulled no punches. He told the truth which made the history all the more interesting. As a tour guide myself, I had 11 passengers on this bus and every one of them enjoyed it immensely. David is simply the very best.

Excellent tour to the Isle of Skye
We took this bus tour from downtown Inverness to the outermost point of Isle of sky with Alex, our amazing bus driver! He grew up on the island so he was super informative about everything we were going to see that day. He added great historical tidbits as well as his own unique humor! Really enjoyed the experience and all the little stops along the way!

Fun all day get away from Edinburgh
Super fun and amazing hosts. The tour company does hire pretty knowledgeable folks that gave us lots of facts and pointed out several highlights along our route. We had Jaime driving (excellent navigation of the scary roads) and Graig who was just so fun and welcoming. It’s a full day so be prepared for an early morning departure. The highlight is Stirling castle but the views getting there are spectacular and worth the trip.

One of the best ways to check out Glenfinnan from Edinburgh
Great tour that charts a really nice route out of Edinburgh and into the Highlands. The tour covers a LOT of road, but honestly it felt so quick thanks to our wonderful guide’s stories and banter. The bus was comfy, and there were sufficient stops for bathrooms or snacks. Importantly, our guide gave a great heads up about when the next stop/bathroom would be. He also gave great pointers about what to stop by at every location. Overall, had a really nice time on this tour to Glenfinnan!!

Great tour
It covers all that it says and Richie was a friendly informative tour guide. He’s a good driver also( some narrow roads) I do not recommend the optional Loch Ness boat ride as it added nothing to the tour, we didn’t see any signs of an ‘old castle ruins you can only see from the boat’. A walk around ft Augustus and the banks of the Loch would be more exciting.

Excellent day tour that hits all the highlights! Recommend Recommend
We had a lovely day with our fabulous tour guide Karen. She was fun and shared useful and interesting information. There were so many interesting stops and activities. Enjoyed the Loch Ness boat ride over to Urquhart Castle. The castle grounds were very neat to see and the film in the visitor center was informative. Next we went to Singleton distillery for a wee dram of whisky. Stopped in Beauly for delicious lunch and visit to the Pirory. Culloden Battle field with a separate paid tour was fascinating and sad. Ending the day was a stop to see the Clava Cairins, 4000 year old Bronze age stone circles and burial cairins. Well done day tour. Recommend to others.

5/5 - Highly Recommended
Karen, our tour guide, was phenomenal! The tour takes you along breathtaking scenery - along castles and lochs and everything in between. Karen did an excellent job of pointing out the scenery while also driving expertly, so that we didn’t have to worry about it. Bring a camera! There is so much to take in

Wee Davie brings the highlands to life
What a fantastic tour of the Highlands, all brought to life by the commentary and wit of Wee Davie. So many interesting points mentioned, and top class scenery, from Loch Lomond to Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, stories of the clans and battles, and the highland ‘coos’.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, a great way to spend a day in Scotland

Spring Break in Edinburgh
Lane was an excellent driver & tour guide. He was very knowledgeable & funny.
Take a portable charger because you'll take loads of pictures.
Glencoe was so packed with other tour busses, so Lane took us down to another beautiful spot for pictures.
Try the whiskey & chocolate ice cream combo in Pitlochry, so yummy.

Isle of Skye in winter
Really enjoyed this trip. Beautiful scenery and the tour guide provided a lot of information about the geography and the history of the people who settled here. Can’t wait to return to see what it looks like when it is warmer and the plants have bloomed.
