About 100 kilometers from Bucharest and 44 kilometers from Ploiesti, the Slanic salt mine is a recognized destination for balneal and touristic activities since 1853, when it was declared a tourist destination of national interest in Romania. Among the superlatives of the salt mine (especially the Union Mine), the most important tourist and health objective in the resort, there is a huge volume of excavated salt, about 2.9 million cubic meters, which led to the creation of cavities with gigantic volumes, respectively 14 trapezoidal rooms totaling about 80,000 square meters. The 14 underground rooms have an opening of 10 meters to the ceiling, 32 meters wide at the bottom, and the height is 54 meters. The depth of the salt mine is 208 meters. The impressive dimensions granted it the title of the largest salt mine in Europe.

Good food and nice intro to Bucharest and its history.

Walking tour through part of Bucharest. Alex was very informative about the history and architecture of the area. We visited The farmer’s market which was lovely and we enjoyed some of the produce from the market at our last stop which a family restaurant providing some typical Romanian dips and cheeses. Very nice tour.

We had Otilia and she was the best and funniest guide we have ever had! She was incredibly knowledgeable and really made us aware of the history of the Romanian people and the castles. I feel like because of how thorough and funny she was the content really stuck and it allowed us to really appreciate the sites so much more. It is a very long day! So definitely recommend you bring snacks for the bus. And pro-tip you cannot buy tickets of the castles on site. We did that an really enjoyed it! But others on the bus did not and were sad they missed the castles. This was a fantastic tour and if you come to Romania you will miss out if you don’t see and hear all of these wonderful things!

Bran Castle is of course...

Bran Castle is of course the most iconic because of Dracula, and it was interesting, but it was good that we got there early to avoid the crowds. If you would have to fight the mob and have it take twice as long, it might not be worth it. Peles Castle was much more grandiose and aesthetically pleasing. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a good experience.

I really enjoyed this tour! It was such a great day and definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Everything was very well organized, and our guide was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. The whole day felt relaxed and enjoyable, and we had enough time to appreciate each stop. Peleș Castle was honestly WOW — absolutely beautiful and even more impressive in person! I really enjoyed the whole experience and I’m very happy I booked this tour. Definitely recommended!

A breathtaking and inspiring masterpiece, Peles castle ! Thanks to Bogdan, we got fast access to enter into the castle. We had peaceful moments and ample time to admire the collection inside the castle. Brian castle, it’s a very simple and steep clifftop castle. The royal garden and lake below the cliff made it a tranquil place ( forgetting that we were at the Dracula proximity)! Brasov, a memorable medieval town !

A great day trip!

Important to check emails and advice on booking entrance tickets. Tour agency did a great job with this but not all read emails. Time management is also important as it is not easy to see all 3 sites in one day. Having a passenger who was late to every meet up was a real hassle. Overall a great day with our driver Claudio and Romeo

AMAZING DAY! This is why I came to Romania, to visit this road! Sebastian, our guide/driver was amazing, funny, informative and very great to spend the day with. We got to see 7 bears up close from the van, just an amazing day- couldn't ask for anything more!

Dracula’s Road Trip!!!

Had a great time visiting Peleş castle, Braşov and Bran castle, it was a very long day at over 13 hrs but our guide Danny was great and kept us informed and entertained, our driver was amazing too driving us back through thunder and lightning storms back to Bucharest. Would recommend this trip.

Fantastic - so much fun!

This is something different to do whilst in Bucharest! We had a great time. I would recommend booking a weekend morning as the roads in Bucharest are crazy any other time but the instructor was amazing. Good tutorial before you go out onto the roads and really clear guidance once you are out and about. Would definately recommend booking this. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Wonderful Day in Bulgaria

We had the most wonderful full-day trip from Bucharest to Bulgaria, and so much of that experience was thanks to our fantastic tour leader, Anna. Anna was absolutely lovely — kind, warm, attentive and incredibly informative. She shared so much about Bulgaria’s history, culture and way of life, but did so in such an engaging and enjoyable way. She was always happy to answer our questions, made sure everyone was comfortable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our day special. It was a pleasure spending the day with her. A special thank you also to George, our excellent driver, who drove us safely and comfortably throughout the entire trip. He was professional, friendly and an absolute pleasure to have with us. The whole day was exceptionally well organised, enjoyable and stress-free. We came away with wonderful memories of Bulgaria and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bucharest. Relax and chill

If you want a relaxing and fun experience you should try this place. Different pools and restaurants, activities, saunas and massage options all in one place. You definitely don't get bored. I tried the relaxing massage and the express facial and both were good. Thank you for Sara and Sandy. I would recommend going during week days and avoid weekends as it got crowded. Remember to take your own towel and slippers, you will need them. I opted for full access as it allows you in the different areas
