In this tour you will visit one of the most important palaces that are close to Bucharest, Mogosoaia and Snagov Palace and Monastery, a place full of legends. In the morning you will leave Bucharest for exploring the surroundings. Your first stop will be Mogosoaia Palace. This palace has a rich history that goes back more than 300 year. Built over the four-year period between 1698 and 1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu, the Mogoșoaia Palace is famous for its architecture. The palace houses a museum and art gallery inside its walls, but it is also known for its beautiful gardens. Here you will have a coffee break. You will go to Vlahiia Garden, where you will have a traditional Romanian lunch and you will visit old houses from Maramures, you will discover their traditions and a little rural paradise not far from Bucharest. I took the Painted Churches tour. Sebastian was a great tour guide. He was super enthusiastic about the painted churches and was very knowledgeable. He took his time explaining everything that we were seeing and gave us plenty of time for us to look around on our own. I would highly recommend this tour company.

Visit to Constanta and the Black Sea

The drive was as advertised but felt long. The highlight of the drive was getting to know our guide who was a charming young mother of two (10 and 5) who told us about Romanian history and the change from communist days to present. She also told us a little of her daily life when she wasn't guiding tours. We had a lovely lunch at the Casino on the edge of the Black Sea and visited an interesting Constanta museum.

What a fun Transylvanian adventure!

Tudor was an excellent guide. Not only is he passionate about his country, which I love he is also very knowledgeable and able to explain everything in an easy to digest way. He cares about the people traveling with him and is very safety conscious. I'd 100% go on one of his tours again if I get the opportunity!

Great!!! It was a special experience

It is a very beautiful place easy to be reached. Temp of 12° C so a jacket is needed. Max tour inside approx of 40 min. The road inside the mines is a special experience. Bogdan was a careful guide moreover careful and experienced driver. Everything was according the mentioned program

Worth the trip!

The whole trip was very interesting, and Andrei, our guide, was both informative and helpful. It was clear that he genuinely enjoys his job, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Although it was a long day, I would have preferred the final part of the tour to be scheduled on a separate day. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a wonderful day overall.

Amazing and must go

MUST GO! I had such a wonderful experience with Alex on this one. I am a savvy traveler and big fan of excursions. There are bad guides, so-so guides and amazing guides. Alex is AMAZING! He had so many interesting stories to share about places we went and beyond. This trip was the last tour on our Romanian trip and we have learnt so much we have not heard on other tours. Both towns are simply beautiful. Very authentic. If ended up being one of my favorite days in Romania.

Efficient and enjoyable transylvania highlands tour

The tour was a great way to get a well-rounded overview of Transylvania’s top attractions in a single day. The organizer went above and beyond by offering hotel pickup instead of the standard meeting point, which was a very nice and convenient touch. Transportation was comfortable, with a well-maintained Ford Transit that made the journey pleasant. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and efficiently organized, allowing us to see a lot without feeling rushed. We also appreciated the assistance with securing tickets for the attractions, which made the experience smooth and hassle-free. The combination of the bear sanctuary, Râșnov Fortress, and Bran Castle provided a perfect mix of nature and history. Everything ran on time and felt professionally managed throughout the day. The only improvement I would suggest is allowing a bit more free time at Bran Castle to explore at a more relaxed pace.

A lovely scape into medieval Romania

We had a fantastic day exploring several beautiful medieval Saxon villages, and the whole experience was absolutely delightful. The weather was perfect, the scenery was stunning, and our guide, Charlie, made everything even better with his great sense of humor and his clear, engaging explanations. We had a wonderful traditional lunch in Viscri — the food was incredibly delicious — and the pace of the tour was relaxed and comfortable. With only two couples in the group, we had plenty of time to explore each place, enjoy the atmosphere, and even sit down for a coffee without any rush. It was a truly lovely day, and we left feeling enchanted by the region. We highly recommend this tour and our guide, Charlie.
