Highly recommend

We were picked up close to where our ship docked. It was about an half hour drive to the west bay Beach where we waited for the boat. It was a semi-submersable, not a glass bottom boat. Regardless, we had a knowledgeable English speaking guide, a very helpful driver who returned us back to the ship so we had an excellent day. The view of the reef, fish and turtles was excellent. There were children on this excursion and they loved it too!

Amazing Experience with Forty in Honduras! We had such an unforgettable experience, all thanks to our incredible tour guide, Forty! From the moment he picked us up and drove us to our horseback riding adventure, we felt completely safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. Forty was not only professional, but also very knowledgeable and kind. He took the time to teach us so much along the way, including explaining the local culture and even showing us the currency in Honduras, which made the experience feel even more authentic and interesting. After horseback riding, he took us to the beach where we were able to relax and take in the beautiful views. Throughout the entire day, he made sure we felt secure and had everything we needed. This was more than just a tour—it was a truly special and memorable experience. If you’re visiting Honduras, I highly recommend asking for Forty. You won’t regret it!

3rd party tour better than thru cruise line!

Most of all, don’t be worried about booking outside of cruise line. Anderson and Antony at the Anderson Tours business run a smooth operation. Personal attention was incredible. Ricardo, horseback tour guide and operator went above and beyond with quickly getting us on the trail, sharing local details, and was a fabulous iPhone photographer! The time in the bay was fun, and photos next to the ROATAN sign was a great surprise. Antony’s personal service made this an unforgettable excursion. We really appreciated his friendliness, sharing more information about the island, managing personal request for shopping stops, and really being flexible to our schedule, getting us back to the port with plenty of time to spare.

Great cruise excursion

We had a great time on this trip during our Royal Caribbean stop in Roatan. Raymond was our guide and he was fantastic. My husband, 6 year old and 4 year old loved the animal park where we were able to interact with the animals. We made quick stops at the chocolate and rum tastings to have more time at the beach and glass bottom boat. Raymond was knowledgeable about Roatan and was very accommodating to ensure our trip was a success. Definitely one of our favorite days on vacation.

Great experience

We had a great experience! I was very scared to be on a horse after a previous injury and the guides helped me the entire time. They made sure I was comfortable and all my family was taken care of. We enjoyed every aspect of the excursion! One recommendation for those going into Roatan cruise port - know the name of the company you booked with BEFORE you step out of the gate. Horse ride was great. Beach was good - food expensive at the place they take you so plan accordingly or walk down the beach. Chocolate and rum “tour” tasting was good and quick. Helped to see more of the island. Our driver the entire time, Alan, was courteous and knowledgeable.

A nice experience in spite of the weather!

The weather was gray and the water choppy. Our guide, Jorge modified the excursion. We toured the island making stops at the highest point, the chocolate factory and rum cake store. Because of the weather we did not get to the beach, but he did take us to a place where we got to go out on a small boat for a snorkeling experience. So, in spite of the slight rain and gray skies, we had an informative and enjoyable experience. Thank you!
