We had a wonderful time...

We had a wonderful time on our visit to Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. It was our first time visiting Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Peter was incredible. Very knowledgeable and engaging. Filled us in on the history of the area on our drive to our destination. Very personable and kept us entertained. Gave us plenty of time to explore and answered everyone’s questions. Highly recommend.

Brazilian Rainforest

The pick up went smoothly and the day was perfect. The previous days Brazil had received a lot of rain. We were the first to arrive in the park. Eric was a great guide and very informative. We were able to see birds, monkeys, and experience the wonders of the park. The cave in the park was quite an experience. My friend that came with me was over 70 and was unable to complete the hike. However, the driver was excellent and showed some of the sites and explained things so that she still enjoyed the excursion. Would definitely recommend. Its a great opportunity to see the natural Brazil.

Excellent tour, I would definitely recommend doing it. Very nice visit to all three sites with ample time to spend at each, particularly Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf. Our tour guide Jonas was great! He gave a nice history of Rio while also giving us information on the sites we were visiting. My wife and I both feel the tour was well worth our time!

We joined the trip and...

We joined the trip and got picked up from a hotel nearby our Airbnb in Ipanema. The bus ride was early and a few hours, but the bus was very cozy and clean! The seats reclined, my friends and I were able to nap before our adventure. The tour is worth the money, our guide Thiago brought us to 4 islands! The boat was clean and well maintained by the crew. Lunch was provided on the second island, a warm Brazilian buffet!

The boat tour was a birthday gift for our teenage son at the end of a marvelous Rio trip. The first part went as planned. We all enjoyed the views, the atmosphere, the attention (especially by Pedro), and the promised refreshments. Then, during the second part of the tour, an unexpected, terrible storm set in. All passengers were requested to put on life vests and move downstairs for security. Everyone was scared. But the experience and professionalism of the crew and the mutual support of all co-passengers helped us through it all and will be a story to tell 'our grandkids' about...

Brutal but worth it

VANESSA <3, my tour guide was so knowledgable about the mountain and the ecosystem from the plants to the animals. Hike is definitely not for the weak…pretty brutal and hot going up. Hotel pick up was very convenient and got to experience the best views of beaches on the jeep style vehicle. Protip- bring a towel, buy water, if you sweat a lot maybe an extra shirt in your bag for pics when you get to the top. I will definitely book another tour experience with the company. ALOHA…you will understand this phrase when you get to the top lol. They take professional photos for R$5 each photo and your tour guide can take the on the phone. D100% recommend.

Great Tour!

The hubby and I booked this tour the day before(11/11/25), kind off the last minute as our scheduled tour was rescheduled. We were picked up from our hotel in a comfortable Mercedes van. The guide, Publiano, was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and ensured that everyone was having a great time. I was extremely impressed that Mr. Publiano was able to converse with all of us who spoke various languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese. Everyone was well informed and was treated equally! Mr. Publiano took great photos for everyone at all the locations. My husband and I had a great time and I would recommend!

Super overview of key sites, wonderful guide & a fantastic lunch. Do the full day!

A fabulous day! We are usually independent travellers who don't do guided tours but with limited time this was a great option, allowing us to be taken to the key sights without queuing or travel hassle. Sabina was an excellent guide. She is Italian, with excellent English. She gave interesting information & stories - never too much - & was very attentive to the group's wishes. We saw Christ the Redeemer with clear views, then Sugarloaf. Nothing felt rushed, & all was very clear about times to wander & when to meet up again. The Brazilian BBQ lunch was fabulous! Plentiful delicious meats on skewers brought to your table. A huge salad bar too. Wines were good & well priced. In the afternoon we did highlights of the city, & Sabina gave us much longer than planned, I think. 2 other people stayed on for the afternoon as it was such a good morning, which is a tribute to Sabina & the driver. The outside of Maracana Stadium was fun for the football fans. The Sambadrome made more sense when Sabina showed us a video on her phone of what it's like in Carnival time - thank you! I/we loved the contrasts of San Bento Monastery Chapel (beautiful, 18C,elaborate) then the Metropolitan Cathedral (60s modernist style but amazing stained glass inside). Finally the Selaron steps were fun, with everyone posing on them. Such a quirky evolving art-project. The tour gave such contrasts of this huge city. It helped us then self-guide for our next 2 days, & to really appreciate views back on places we had visited. A very good value tour & so well organised. Thank you!
