What are people saying about Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21)

Emotional tour
We were picked up on time from our hotel and dropped off after. Killing fields first then S21. Both places are emotionally draining and heavy, bring compassion and understanding. Mr. Sum Cheath was a good tour guide and full of information. Bus was comfy and water was cold. There are a few survivors selling books for $10 each, lots of info in the books, so bring extra cash. Recommended as a way to visit both places.

This was an extremely interesting tour. The audio guides were extremely helpful and also pointed to more harrowing stories and advised you to sit outside in the shade of the trees at some places.

Perfectly respectful sized tour for a humbling experience
This tour was beautifully presented. We were incredibly impressed by our humble guide (I’m sorry I didn’t quite remember his name) Only 6 of us on the day. Tour was perfectly paced & he left us with alone time to reflect I had done a tour here many years ago & was delighted to again meet up with Chum Mey Take the small tour if possible which allows for some quiet and peaceful wandering

This tour was a very meaningful and insightful experience. Our guide Ran was amazing. His vast knowledge of Cambodian history and ability to explain this clearly made all the difference. We were also very touched by Ran choosing to share his own story with us. Thank you Ran for making this tour such a memorable experience for us.
