Ancient Olympia was amazing. And, the museum was beyond belief (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The tour guide mostly read information about what we should expect to see from his phone. He was talkative on the drive from Athens to Ancient Olympia but barely said two words on the way back. Had the tour guide not had his phone to read from, I highly doubt he would have had much to any knowledge of the site we were headed to see.

Very nice experience up early and beat the crowds. Panos was a great driver and great conversation explaining the area. Bee Honey tour was awesome and educational. Panos then took us to cliff side restaurant overlooking the sea and food was outstanding. A very beautiful experience. I would use Panos as driver again.

Informative and Adjustable

A very helpful driver but we should have paid more attention as it did not include a guide inside the Olympic site, just a booklet that was hard to follow. Driver was informative and adjusted the tour to include a trip to an Olive Oil Mill (Oilympian Koufolias) instead of a honey farm. One of our folks had never seen a fig tree, so he also pulled over on the side of a road and picked fresh figs off a tree to taste.

Best tour ever!

Not only was Andrew extraordinary, but so is the company! Our ship was over 1.5 hours late for disembarking and the tour company scheduled a private tour for us so the small group tour did not have to wait on us. The absolute best tour of our trip....perfection at its best! Everyone knew Andrew and we received first treatment everywhere we stopped. He was so knowledgeable about the area. Probably one of our favorite tours. Andreas was an excellent guide. We saw ancient Olympia and the he took us to a honey farm and and olive oil press company. He then helped us find a wine in the super market as it was a request for us to bring back to my step mother. Then he recommended Jimmies for the best gyros and baklava. Would definitely recommend Andreas and this tour.

Wonderful trip to Olympia.

Truly a wonderful time in Olympia. The visit to the ancient Olympics site is a must do! The olive oil and honey tasting was very good. We opted to tour around the charming little town vs going to the honey bee farm. We loved the shops and restaurants but all of the other guests that went to the honey bee farm said that was great too. Excellent day!

Do this and the 15 dollar bus ride save the 200

Do this save the line to get tickets. We took a 15 dollar bus ride up and had these tickets and audio guide already downloaded. So while everyone else followed the herd we instead went straight into the site while it was still cool and toured with the audio guide for 90 mins then went back to the museum to end the tour. We saved 200 bucks we used to shop later.
