Canadian DDay tour
A wonderfully thorough tour with Adrian & Pauline. Adrian’s knowledge & passion for the subject was presented in a respectful & thoughtful way. The 8 hours flew by as we traced the progress of Canadian soldiers on DDay & the following days. Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic Normandy D Day Band of Brothers tour!
From the moment we were picked up in a very comfortable bus, William our expert on all things Operation Overlord set the stage for the allied invasion with great historical perspective and personal stories. We all felt like we were back in 1944 as we journeyed from site to site learning more about the incredible acts of bravery on June 6th. I especially was taken with the recount of the two medics from the 101st Airborne division Robert Wright and Kennth Moore fought to save the lives of injured American and German soldiers alike for three straight days with no relief and no rest. William told the story well and showed us the church and the blood stained pews that stands as a testimony to a very bloody battle. We followed lieutenant Dick Winters and Easy Company from Brecourt Manor to Carentan and William showed us lots of historical maps and photographs to make everything more relatable for us. He went into a good amount of detail but not too much. You can't go wrong with this company or in particular William as a guide.

Exceptional full day tour— to all the important D-Day sites!
Tour guide (Pascal) was knowledgeable, passionate, and entertaining! He kept our entire group interested as he shared historical information, photos, and anecdotes about D-Day in Normandie. We visited many historic sites that helped reinforce this period in history. The pace was good for folks of all ages and the transportation was very comfortable. Pascal was also a very good driver. This was a full day tour (9-5) but it flew by because Pascal was so interesting! I highly recommend this tour!

This tour of Omaha Beach,...
This tour of Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, and the American Cemetery was very informative and well organized. The guide provided a lot of interesting historical background and explained the significance of each location clearly. Visiting these sites in person was a memorable experience, and the tour was paced well throughout the day. I would highly recommend this tour.

This day was an amazing experience, it was so well organized and our guide Mathieu was extremely knowledgeable and kept us interested all day. He was personable and shared so much, answered questions, provided stories about events as well as facts . He was willing to expand on areas our group had the most interest in. He joined us at our table for lunch and that was wonderful, most guides have not in my experience but we found it to be a great personal touch.
Our day of exploration of the D day events , beaches and the visit and impact of the American Cemetery was even more than we expected it could be.

Great Day at the Monastery
Wonderful tour highly recommend Emily. We met our guide Emily and what was to be a party of 8 ended up to be 4. Long story short the tour ended up as a private tour with just Emily and us. Emily was so knowledgeable about the monastery, the history and overall general knowledge of the area. Highly recommend

British Normandy Beaches Tour
We were collected at Bayeux train station by Emanuel and were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour. As we were talking about history in the minibus, Emanuel made an extra stop and showed us where William the Conquerer was buried. We then continued to the Pegasus bridge and museum and it was completely up to us how long we stayed there.
We visited the war burial sites and the landing beach. Emanuel had photos to show us and lots of knowledge and we all had an enjoyable afternoon. We also asked to be dropped back into the centre of Bayeux so we could have a look around, which he was happy to do - great service and excellent English

Splendid and Brilliant tour on the River Siene
As described, viator representatives meet the ship at the port in La Havre, greeted us with macrons, and madeleines, then we were on our way to Paris, in a comfortable bus past the French countryside, arriving in Paris close to the Eiffel Tower, and meet Kate our tour guide, where we boarded the riverboat for a splendid cruise on the River Siene. Kate was very knowledgeable and had wonderful entertaining and historic antidotes of the life in Paris. We ended our tour in the shadow of the Arc de Triomphe toasted with champagne and returned to the Port of Le Havre safely on time and completely satisfied and pleased with the tour, I highly recommend this tour.

Corentin made this visit memorable!
From the beginning, Corentin was an outstanding guide and made this tour memorable. We relaxed in his spacious and comfortable van while he drove us through the French countryside to Mont St Michel. His vast and thorough knowledge of MSM was really captivating and left us laughing at times. Don't shop around. Book with Corentin now! You won't be disappointed.

Paris by bus and boat
It’s a long ride to Paris. (3 hours) The River tour is a must do. You get the view from the water of all of the famous landmarks. Sit on the outside and soak it all in. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out all the details. The bus driver did an amazing job and even provided champagne to toast all that is France. ♥️

Not seeing something you are looking for?
World War II history, UNESCO-listed monuments, Belle Epoque beach resorts, and medieval cities: Normandy has it all, and you’ll only scratch the surface of what this region offers on Normandy day trips. With just one day, focus your explorations on a particular area or sight, whether visiting France’s most famous island monastery, following the path of Allied soldiers at the D-Day beaches, or hopping between the picturesque coastal towns of the North. Normandy is close enough to Paris to be a day-trip destination, but you’ll be able to see even more if you start from Bayeux or Le Havre.
