Too Notch Private Tour
Not enough superlatives to describe the exceptional quality of our guide Zara. She was perfect in every way and we learned SO much! She made sure we experienced every single point of interest listed on the itinerary and knew how to navigate the crowds. We were especially thankful to tour both Grand and Petit Trianon with her and enjoyed visiting Marie Antoinette’s hamlet. Lunch at La Flotille was also wonderful and she made a long 8.5 hour day fly by. It was totally worth the high cost.

“It’s great to be the King.”—Mel Brooks
Versailles will overwhelm one’s senses. It is beautiful beyond the ability of words to describe. The royal apartments are fascinating. The Hall of Mirrors is a sight everyone should have an opportunity to experience. Beyond the palace is the jardins, which are not to be missed. Rent a golf cart and tour them at your own pace.

Not expecting a 10 mile bike ride
Our tour guide Joe was the best part of the trip. So entertaining! However I was not expecting to bike ride for 10 miles up hill on a one speed bike in the rain! It seemed we biked more than we toured the buildings. For an old person it was pretty rough but thank God I made it!
