Mert, our guide was excellent! He arrived early at the designated meeting point and was very friendly and helpful from the start! This was a small group tour of 9 (was meant to be 12) which we would highly recommend! Mert was excellent at moving us on from each point of interest to the next and always ensured we had plenty free time to explore and take photos at each location! He is an excellent communicator and provided lots of information both historical and cultural in an engaging manner. Visits to both mosques and the cistern are definite musts when visiting Istanbul. Although not part of the itinerary Mert suggested a restaurant for a late lunch where a number of the group joined him and where he freely continued to provide us with many more insights into life in Istanbul. We really appreciated that this was purely a history/cultural tour with no visits to shops included. Would highly recommend this tour and Mert as a guide, as he made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.

The guided tour with Furkan was excellent! Beyond professionalism, what stands out most was his knowledge about the history of the sites and his passion to convey them to us. We especially we liked the many hidden treasures he pointed out while touring Hagia Sophia. I would highly recommend this tour with Furkan to anyone visiting Istanbul!

We had Umut who was lovely, he waited for my father who was late due to his walking speed, and then he did an amazing job sharing the history and stories and then as a bonus shared restaurant tips. The Hagia Sophia... And Blue Mosque, stunning! Also, we didn't do it, but you can add on the Basilica Cistern, and we wish we had!

We were a small group of 6 & started our tour at 9am We really enjoyed exploring the palace with our guide, we missed all the crowds & learned so much about life as the Emperor & all the people around him. Our guide told us great stories of what life was like for the residents of the palace.

This was an excellent tour across Istanbul. We did six tastings plus a couple of market stops along the way Uger our guide paid attention to each of the people on the tour, called us by name always, and was very interactive. This was a great way to see some of the neighborhoods of Istanbul in a way we wouldn’t have likely done on our own. Highly recommend!

"You have to visit the old town" - Yes, I agree. A must for the first time traveller to Istanbul or one interested in history, culture and religion. Our well-seasoned guide, Omer and driver, picked us up from our hotel in the morning, then we proceeded to walkthrough the popular sites instilling in us the rich history of the past and present. The tour was well-paced allowing time to fully experience the surroundings and to enjoy a nice meal. A very enjoyable experience.

We did this tour our first morning in Istanbul and it was perfect - exactly what we needed to get ourselves acclimated to the Sultanahmet area. We also learned the basics of Istanbul's history, which we really appreciated! Yunus was super friendly and a fantastic tour guide! Make sure you save extra time after the tour for tea!

I think this tour is a must to see so much of the beauty of Istanbul and learn the significance of what you are seeing. The tour was well organized and a great way to get around in a time efficient manner. The cruise was awesome and an opportunity for great pictures.
