Great tour guide!
Our tour guide Andy, was excellent. He went over and beyond when my knee popped and I could no longer walk. He helped us every which way he could. Even got me a wheelchair when we hit port Arthur, so that I wouldnt miss out. He was funny and informative and just a pleasure to be around.

Prune Island tour was brilliant!
This was a fantastic experience that included a visit to the rainforest as well as this to the beach and a whole lot of information about Bruney Island, which we found fascinating. This was our best tour of all eight of them and we highly recommended. Excuse me.

DO IT! Great Tour + Guide!
The tour: this tour is incredible! You definitely get great value for money. The Russell Falls part is stunning and as someone with bad netball knees, very doable (do the tall tree walk forest, down to the falls, finishing at the 'start') - the forest and falls are stunning! The sanctuary is really cool and your ticket (included) goes directly to funding their valuable work - the Tassie Devils are adorable! Richmond is stunning, interesting history, incredible food and drink of all kinds, beautiful peaceful walks that are easy, and great vibes all round! Mt Wellington is great - you're not walking up or down, you're driven to the top to look around from there with lots of support etc on the board walks - stunning view of Hobart and beyond, the ocean, rivers, bush. Toilets there too- what a view haha. Bonus too, our tour guide showed us more of Hobart - Battery Point and Salamanca, teaching us about those buildings too during drop off, which was awesome!
The tour guide: Jarrod was a wonderful guide. Jarrod was very knowledgeable, patient, charismatic, funny, full of ideas and suggestions, easily answered our questions, and gave all sorts of interesting tid bits of information about everything around us (and its history) - the variety was impressive and super appreciated, too. Jarrod was also accommodating, attentive, and great with communicating times and distances, etc. I highly recommend not only this tour but also Jarrod specifically as the tour guide :) Thank you very much for a great day! Great job, Jarrod ❤️

Best Tour in Tasmania
WOW. The most epic way to experience Tasmania. Your day starts in Hobart, where you board a bus and eventually ferry that takes you to Bruny Island. First, we stopped at this beautiful viewing point that overlooked the stunning beaches and mountains in the background. Then, we had a light breakfast and geared up for the speed boats. The views were AMAZING!!! Cliffs, Rocks, Seals, and vibes were amazing. 100000000% do this.

Port Arthur is a must! Brilliant guide
Port Arthur has a sad history, compliments to our guide Victor who was very thoughtful and respectful. It was an unforgettable experience, learning the history of Australia’s convicts. 5 stars to our guide Victor for the wonderful experience plus his humour that keeps me awake lol😂

Fun on Bruny!
Dave was an excellent guide whom made the trip funny and informative. We got to see most of the island and all the cool little stores! My wife and I had an amazing time and we recommend this trip to everyone! Great food Dave and the team. We enjoyed everything but the three standouts were the cheese tasting, lunch and The Neck lockout. But we very munched enjoyed Dave’s commentary and the garden tour with chocolate tasting. Thank you!

Must-do tour for the first time visitor in Tasmania
It was probably our best decision to take this tour during our recent visit to Tasmania. This tour covers a lot of important tourist spots in Tasmania. Specially for the first timer who have only limited time. Matt our guide was great and patient. He gave us plenty of information during the tour so we know a little bit of history of the places we visited. We felt also that we had a good size of tour group of less than 10 people. We think that the allocated time was perfect for each place so we could have our own time to explore the places on our own. We definitely recommend this tour to everyone visiting Tasmania for the first time.

Bruny Island tour is a must do!
Great tour start to finish our guide was so knowledgeable about the local area and history, the oysters were just gold and the local tasting of cheeses were delicious. Bruny Is tour is a must spectacular views and one of the only ways to climb the lighthouse and get the history and stories.

The views from Mt....
The views from Mt. Wellington were amazing. In Richmond make sure to have a scallop pie at the bakery. Bonorong sanctuary was a great stop as well with Tasmanian devils and kangaroo feeding. Andrew did a great job of giving us the highlights of Hobart and good commentary on all of the places we past.

The bus to take to Mt Wellington!
So affordable for a great bus tour up to the mountain! Tony was the driver and have a fun commentary (and lots of puns). Wifi on the bus. It’s best to get a left hand side seat for the mountain side view when driving up. I took advantage of the hop on/off option and went off at the Fern Tree stop and did the Silver Falls walk. I had an 11am start and it was my last day in Hobart but next time I will do this tour again and see more of the mountain. The bus drivers communicated through radio so they knew I was to be picked up by the next bus on the way down and it was reassuring. It’s a really narrow shared busy road so better to take the bus if you don’t feel comfortable driving.

JUST BEWARE this can change at any time we arrived back for 11am bus but had to wait till 12 to do the next tour.. well worth it to get around to see sites of Hobart

Derwent River Historic cruise.
Great service, food was lovely, nice cruise along the river. Unfortunately however, we were not able to hear any of the commentary due to an extremely noisy group of travellers who had no regard for their anyone else. No blame can be attached to the operators and we would not hesitate to do it again.

Hobart day trips are a convenient way to experience the best of Tasmania’s wild landscapes and historical sites. Explore the island’s rugged coastline on a scenic cruise, step back in time with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Port Arthur, or take in panoramic views from the top of Mount Wellington. With its compact size and dramatic surroundings, Tasmania is easy to explore from Hobart, making the capital city an ideal base for day-long adventures into Australia’s southernmost, and often most overlooked, state.
