Highlight of our Crete trip!
This trip was one of the highlights of our trip to Crete. The boat was nice and spacious, we were 11 people including the captain and the skipper and there was enough space for all of us. The Dia Island itself was not too interesting, but it was a nice area to chill on the boat or swim (really blue, clear water!), although on the day we were there the water was a bit cold. The lunch was prepared fresh on the boat and was amazing! I was kind of expecting a cold, simple dish but the crew went above and beyond to prepare a delicious meal for us. Also we had a free flow of drinks including wine. Big thanks to Dima and Mano from Cretan Sailing Cruises - they were the best crew we could ever hope for. Friendly, funny, and they made sure every second we spent on the boat was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this trip - but make sure to bring warm clothes because it can get really windy on board!

Wonderful day on the water!
What a wonderful day on the water! The captains were delightful, very kind and attentive, warm and friendly. There were 12 passengers which seemed too many at first but we were then aloud to spread out and sit on the front deck of the boat which was PERFECT! The blue water was beautiful and the lunch was superb! Dia Island wasn’t much to see, a place to drop anchor and be protected from the wind. We had a blast swimming, snorkeling and SUPing around. Thank you Alex and Vascili for a wonderful day!

Apostolos was the best guide
My mum and I had one of the best experiences with Apostolos (we have been a quite a lot of tours but by far this was the best), he was attentive from the beginning and he has a wealth of knowledge which we loved so much - we felt like a Cretian by the end of the tour. Apostolos was super patient with all of us and made sure we had all our questions answered with grace honesty and respect.
Thank you Apostolos for making our trip to Crete one of the best. We have sent your business card to our friends and family so when they vist Crete they will be sure to contact you personally.
Thank you so much from Chanté and Brenda

Amazing guide
This tour was probably the best I have ever done ! It was very rich, local and tasty. Not to mention our guide who was exceptionnel himself! Very knowledgeable about so many subjects and had the best sens of humour ever. We had such a lovely time and would recommend this expérience to everyone whos looking for something authentic with a guide who actually loves people and his island. 10/10 all the way.

A great day out
We had a great tour around the mountains and the Lisithi Plateau. Seeing goats, sheep, vultures, the oldest Plane tree, a tour around an olive mill. Lunch was included which was really nice. We were given time to wander around certain places and were offered Raki everywhere we went. It was interesting to listen to the history of the island and learned a lot and tasted some amazing cheese. Darryl our tour guide was really knowledgeable and made it fun. Thank you.

First class wine tour
First class service, from the moment you are picked up Areti is respectfully enquiring what your tastes are and wine preferences.
From there, she expertly pairs wine and food to your tastes. This is a great day, excellent wine & olive oil with authentic Cretan food served at every stop.
Areti knows her stuff, we learnt all about the history of Crete and how they had brought back certain wines from near extinction.
If you’re not a big breakfast eater then skip it altogether that day as the food offered on the tour is outstanding.
Highly recommended, look no further.

Great tour and great tour guide
We had a great guide named Mike. He is very pleasant but also extremely knowledgable and informative. His enthusiasm was amazing, making our tour stimulating. We were somewhat unfortunate with the weather which was colder than normal, but still got to see and do everything as planned. We highly recommend this tour

A brilliant day trip with our wonderful guide Christina who brought the Palace to life
A brilliant. Interesting day with our guide Christina who was amazing. She brought Knossos Palace to life and is so knowledgeable. Then a brief tour of the Venetian buildings in Herkalion. The Orthodox Greek church is one of the best we have seen. We had already visited the Museum where the artifacts. Paintings and mosaics are housed from the Palace and recommend you do this as well

Great fun!
This was a great way to see Crete. The organization was run professionally, the people were nice, the machines in good working order and they set out a path that was fun and we got to see things I don’t think most tourist would’ve. Even the weather held out.!

Great day well worth doing
Was a full day with 3 main stops. There is plenty time at each place to enjoy the areas and have quick drink if you want. The towns are very pretty and Spinalonga very interesting. It is €20 extra to get into Spinolonga but you can just sit and enjoy view of port or paddle if you don't want to walk round. If you want to jump of boat into water for swim on way back ensure you already have swim wear on. Transfers were great and local. All staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our day. Totally recommended

So much food and drink - and lots of learning!
Petras was very good company for the day and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much from him about Crete's history as well as the wine. Each of the wine makers were very accommodating and fed us well. And I cannot emphasise enough how good all of the food was! Picked fresh from the garden.
The lunch at the end was just spectacular. We were so full when we returned to our hotel that we slept for 2 hours but we were very very happy.
A fantastic way to spend the day and such good value for what you get out of it. Can't recommend enough!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Crete’s capital and largest city, Heraklion, sits not far from the center of the island’s north coast, meaning you can reach anywhere in Crete on a day trip—while ferries will bring you as far afield as Santorini. Some of the top Heraklion day trips include sailing to uninhabited Dia Island, off-road safaris through villages and olive groves, hiking the 10-mile (16-kilometer) Samaria Gorge, and heading west to Chania Old Town or pink-tinted Elafonisi Beach. From the Lassithi Plateau windmills to the fortress isle of Spinalonga, Heraklion makes the perfect base.
