After disembarking, set off on a sightseeing tour that covers key destinations such as Oia and Fira, as well as the island’s signature whitewashed houses, caldera views, and more.

Santorini is often described as a “must‑visit destination” because there is truly nowhere else in the world quite like it. This jewel of the Aegean is made up of five islands – Thíra, Thirassiá, Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni – together forming one of the most remarkable volcanic landscapes on Earth. The archipelago is part of an active volcanic system whose submerged crater shapes the island’s dramatic caldera. This extraordinary geological backdrop, combined with the iconic white‑washed buildings set against the deep blue sea and sky, creates the striking contrast that makes Santorini instantly recognizable and utterly unforgettable. TOUR HIGHLIGHTS Caldera: Santorini’s caldera was formed by one of the most powerful volcanic eruptions in history. Oia Village: Oia is the most picturesque village in Santorini. Volcanic beaches: Discover Santorini’s seaside treasures and enjoy deep blue waters and beaches with white, red or black sand or volcanic pebbles.

What sets this journey apart is that nothing here is staged, polished, or dressed up for show. You move through the island the way Cretans have always done — from the ruins where legends took their first breath, to farms where people still work with their hands, to tavernas where lunch is not an item on a menu but a small ritual. It’s a day stitched together by real voices and real craft, the kind you don’t find in places built for tourists. And because the group stays small, the experience breathes. You hear the stories that don’t make it into guidebooks, you taste olive oil poured by the producer himself, you clink glasses with winemakers who measure life in harvests, not deadlines. It’s a simple recipe — history, land, people — but in Crete, those three have always been enough to turn a day into a memory that lingers.

What sets this tour apart is its raw authenticity and deep respect for Cretan tradition. This is not a show for tourists—it’s a real morning spent with real locals doing what they’ve always done: making soap with herbs and olive oil, pressing liquid gold from their groves, and pouring wine and raki that speak of soil and soul. You’ll visit small, family-run businesses where stories are shared, not staged, and every stop offers something handmade, heartfelt, and rooted in the land. With no crowded buses, no tourist traps, and no fluff, this experience is ideal for curious travelers who want to taste, learn, and connect. It's a short tour with a long-lasting impact—leaving your afternoon open but your mind and heart full. Come hungry for stories, not souvenirs.

What makes this shuttle service unique is the freedom to choose between two authentic Cretan producer experiences. Select either Lyrarakis Winery for a wine-focused visit or Politakis Olive Mill to discover the world of Cretan olive oil. Travellers choosing different options can share the journey from Heraklion, enjoy their selected venue and return together. With a central meeting point, organised round-trip transportation and a small-group minivan, there is no need to rent a car, arrange an expensive taxi or worry about driving after a wine tasting. The shuttle price covers transportation only, allowing each traveller to choose and pay for the experience that suits them best.

For those who like a little action, there are water sports available when conditions allow. As the day winds down, get ready for a truly unforgettable sunset. Falasarna faces due west, giving you an unobstructed view of the sun as it melts into the Aegean — a show of color that many say is the most beautiful on Crete.
