A Must
This was our favorite excursion on our 2-week trip in greece. George was fantastic! He is fun, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We would highly recommend this!

Vagelis is the best tour...
Vagelis is the best tour guide in Crete (confirmed by multiple other passing tour guides). This experience was so much fun, and definitely worth the money.

20/10 stars, if you miss this you will be thinking about it the rest of your life!!
That was nothing short of incredible. Most beautiful place I have ever seen, and experienced it the best way possible by dropping into the canyon via ropes all harnessed up. I didn’t know exactly what we were in for, but the guides were very thorough and helpful with teaching us how to canyon. Absolutely must do, highlight of our trip so far (we have been on vacation for 13 days). I plan on coming back and booking the same exact experience!! No joke, this is a no brainer, book this trip!!

Lots of fun!
This tour was a lot of fun! It was a nice way to see the gorge and the wetsuits kept us warm. The guides were great and friendly. We were a group of four and we would recommend this to anyone looking for some adventure.

Best adventure
we were 9 woman on the river trek. George was concerned for our safety and kept a careful watch on us. It’s not as easy as the description but if you’re active it’s totally great. i suggest wearing shorts over your swimsuit as to not scrape your bum. It was the highlight for o our gourds trip

So amazing! the hike was...
SO AMAZING! The hike was beautiful. You got to see a really neat church on the way down to the waterfall and hear the backstory. Also see some vultures. The waterfall was AMAZING! Cold water, but tolerable with the wetsuit. Once and a lifetime opportunity. Jelle and kilian were our guides and they were so great. Talkative, friendly. Went way over the top. Took tons of pictures of us. If you ask, they will take one! Highly recommend.

It included 2 climbs, two jumps (optional of course!) and a 20 min walk through the gorge. We loved it - there were 5 of us in our group - all really enjoyed the experience. The guides were so supportive, friendly and funny! Would 110% recommend.

The waterfalls were...
The waterfalls were breathtaking. It was a very strenuous hike down and back from the falls, carrying a heavy ruck sack with gear for 2 people. The activity also included climbing up and down rocks in the gorge. It was a cool trip and the guides were wonderful! I just wish we spent more time at the waterfalls and that I knew the hike down and back would take the majority of the time.

A truly memorable experience!
Our day out with Panos and two other families was a day to remember. Panos was so knowledgeable about the gorge, wildlife, herbs and nooks and crannies of the river and a very pleasant guide. Our group was 8 people which made everything more personal as it made the shared experience even more special. The freezing water near the waterfall is worth swimming through (you will acclimatise) to witness the thundering power of the water and beauty of the gorge. I took my 14 year old video game loving child with me and he was so grateful! You do need to be moderately fit as a lot of walking both on and off land, some swimming, voluntary jumping all wrapped up with a lovely complimentary meal by our host. I highly recommend this tour - 8 years in Crete and this has definitely been one of our highlights. Thank you Panos!! I will be back with other visitors to the island 👍

The best way to experience the Cretan landsacape
Me and my wife had always wanted to try canyoning, however we had zero experience before this activity so we were quite nervous and skeptical if this would right for us. In the end, we both left with a huge smile on our faces and an unforgettable experience that now acts as a perfect intro into the canyoning world.
Barbara and her dad were simply amazing, they made sure to explain all the safety procedures up-front and they were very engaging and fun to be with during the whole experience. Overall, we did 2 rope descents, 2 jumps into the water (both were optional, and there was no pressure to complete them) and about 20 minutes of river trekking in Kourtaliotis.
The canyon is an amazing place, national park with a lot of beautiful rock formation and a river that flows from the top of the Cretan mountains all the way to the sea. And in our opinion, jumping and climbing through it was the best way to be in contact and feel the landscape.
As a first time experience, it left me and my wife in awe and definitely with a lot of excitement and curiosity to repeat this in the future. If you are completely new to this (like we were), don't wait and book it! The organizers will make you feel right at home.
