The views were lovely, our guide was kind and worked hard as we visited with the other ladies in our boat. It was peaceful and definitely an experience you won't get just riding the water taxi. Definitely my favourite experience from Venice!

I was not aware that we were sharing the gondola. We arrived and ended up sharing it with 2 other people. Luckily they were nice and we talked and took each other’s pictures.
Our driver did not say one word to us or sing any songs. When we were taking photos he would look away and at one point he was on his phone. What a disappointment! I would choose a different company next time. I’m just thankful the ride was only 30 minutes. They also rushed us getting in and getting out of the gondola. I don’t recommend taking this tour.

I would rate this as zero stars but I had to select one star to get to the comments. Our gondola driver did not greet us as we got on the gondola. He did not speak to us once to tell us a little about what we were seeing. He did however speak to the driver of the gondola in front of us the entire time. It was a heated discussion. It was not relaxing in any way and it was extremely loud with that conversation. When we returned they were very quick to ask for a tip. We should have been given a refund. Not a good impression for our first visit to this beautiful city.

Sadly, we didn’t even get to go on the experience because they told us to wait at a certain place, in which we did. They never came for us and then left without us. When we asked about it, they said it was our fault and there was nothing we could do. Our kids were super disappointed. I requested a refund and was denied, even though we followed their peoples instructions. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND

While not designated when you purchase. This is a SHARED ride experience. We chose to not take part and let another couple have a private tour. All over town you can walk up to the gondolas and for the same price (or if more than 2 in a group) even cheaper. Do not bother

The actual gondola trip was nice, completely fine to be shared as that’s what we booked.
However, booking says be there 30 minutes before, which for our booking was 5:30, we then didn’t get on the gondola until 6:10 and docked before 6:30. Trip was nice but we paid for 30 minutes and got just over 15. I would save your money on this one. Lovely trip through the canals but not at this price for less than what was advertised.

We took a gondola ride in Venice, and overall it was a relaxing and leisurely experience. However, it would have been even better if the gondolier had pointed out some of the sights mentioned in the itinerary.
The tour advertised about 10 minutes on the Grand Canal, but it felt shorter than expected. After passing near the The Gritti Palace, we turned into a smaller canal and didn't see much more of the Grand Canal.
A tip for future travelers: read the tour description carefully, especially if you're booking a shared gondola ride. Make sure the route includes the landmarks and points of interest that matter most to you. In hindsight, I wish we had chosen a route that passed under the Rialto Bridge or near the Bridge of Sighs.

Our gondolier had a wonderful personality and we had a fantastic time. The only thing that wasn’t 5 Star was the fact that there were many many gondolas on the side canals with us at the same time. It almost seemed like a traffic jam in New York City at one point!

Gondola driver was either on his phone, taking phone calls, or smoking his vape the entire time. We were following a huge caravan of other gondolas. Idk if this is truly worth it.

More than 15 gondolas departed at the same time. The whole trip involved trying to avoid colliding into one another. Didn’t feel we got a “ride”. Took a small side channel which could have been nice if not for the sea of all the gondolas, both docked and moving. Hugely disappointing.

This was disappointing. A very crowded area where all the boats are trying to get in and out. A gondolier who was just going through the paces. No communication or interest in making this an experience for us. Took off 8 minutes late and back 5 minutes early for a 30 minute ride.

Out gondola reservation was set for 6 pm and we waited at the site for 10 minutes and nobody showed up. Then agent told us he left and there was another person at same spot and she had same reservation. We did get let onto one boat after complaining because we were leaving next day. Ride was also super short and felt we only went a couple of canals and then back to start point:

First, this is a shared experience. The advertisement doesn’t mention that. Once you arrive you could be placed on a gondola with strangers. Also, they don’t share that there’s a limit to the number of people per gondola. I thought we’d be on with 6 ppl as I wasn’t informed that we wouldn’t all be on one. At the time of our ride is when we were informed of all of this.
The day of we arrived 20 mins early and waited. It began to rain close to the time of our ride. It wasn’t a heavy rain but rain nonetheless. I asked the guide if we could wait until 6 pm and she stated that it wasn’t going to rain hard or long and that it would be worse at 6. So we proceeded to get on. We weren’t on the gondola more than 4 mins when it began to literally pour and the water was extremely choppy and even our gondola person made noises which we took as concern for how rough the waves were getting and the conditions so we asked to turn around. We were drenched from head to toe. Literally dripping water and freezing. I immediately requested a partial refund since we were not able to experience even half of the ride and was given bad information regarding the weather. Our request was denied with no explanation. I would be very leery with booking with this company. They aren’t upfront with all of the information and clearly don’t care about conditions or guests feeling safe while riding.

The gondola experience was ok. The operator tried to get 90 Euros from us prior to starting the ride.
I do not recommend alilgu... as your gondola ride choice.

A stranger was added to our group of four.
The gondola driver does not share any history information at all. They just drive the gondola. No music is played.
Basically you sit in a quiet gondola for 26 minutes as it is pushed about by the gondola driver.
It is not bad, it is just not great.

A bit pricey at $199 usd for a 30 minute ride. It was actually about 20 minutes, quick circle. I expected more at that price. But other than that, it was good. You can't really skip the gondola ride.

The journey took about 30 minutes and the ride was quite comfortable. The distance travelled was quite short and was used my many gondolas so that we spend most of the time in a traffic jam with very low speed. There was no comment on what to see or any other personal conversation. Next time we would try to find another starting point far away from the markus square.
