This was a wonderful experience for our family. Victor was awesome, and this was a highlight of our vacation. We loved every part of this experience, from the visit to the market for our ingredients and all the wine tasting to the really fun cooking of the paella and then eating it with our entire group. This is a must-do if you enjoy cooking.

Daniel was an excellent teacher. He kept the class fun but provided a lot of history and education. We really enjoyed our lesson, the variety of wines offered, and, of course, the delicious paella. I would highly recommend this experience.

We did the paella cooking class and it was fantastic. From the beginning Victor was incredibly welcoming and informative. We had a variety of tapas and wines throughout the class. Victor was very helpful while demonstrating the class and showing us what to do. At each step he was supportive and let us know what needed to be done to improve our dish. Afterwards we are our paella and we were able to enjoy the fruits of our labour with explanations of the history from Victor. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a little taste of Spanish culture

A thoroughly enjoyable experience mixing some historical contest with practical cooking skills. Pau was our guide and cooking advisor - his passion for the city and paella was obvious as he expertly guided us through preparing, cooking and eating the perfect valencian paella with humour and fun. Our cooking experience was all the more enjoyable accompanied by ample tapas and local wine. I would recommend this activity to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

The paella we made was phenomenal! This is a great experience where you get a chance to see the Central Market (even offered some recommendations for buying different ingredients). Furthermore- the wine pairings and tapas offerings were so tasty and offered an opportunity to experience traditional Spanish tapas. Our guide, Megan, did an amazing job helping with all 7 groups/paella . We had a great time intermingling with people from around the world, actually getting to cook paella, and sit down and enjoy a tasty meal together. We 100% recommend everyone participate in this experience.

This was an exceptional experience. Chef Victor was friendly and informative and hugely knowledgeable. We got to explore the central market a bit as we went with Victor to purchase ingredients for our paella. We had a lovely welcome at the cooking location with cava and local snacks and got to know our group. The cooking portion was lots of fun and we learned a lot about how to cook paella. We all did our own cooking but Victor gave individual advice and suggestions as well as general instructions and kept tweaking our fires so all group members would be complete around the same time. His sense of timing seemed masterful. We had multiple tapas throughout the cooking experience as well as several glasses of wine all of which were served by Olivia who was very personable and who explained all of the wines and the tapas for us. When the paella was complete we moved to the dining area and had a feast of our own making. The paella was the best we had tried so far. All thanks to Chef Victor, I am sure :)! We learned about Soccarat - the crunchy rice that is achieved by NOT stirring the paella for the right amount of time. It is sooo delicious! Victor made us a dessert of a sponge cake with whipped cream and fresh figs which was his grandmothers recipe and was also a delightful way to end the experience. It was a wonderful way to spend a part of our day and we were so glad we did this! Thanks to Chef Victor and Olivia for such a warm welcome to Valencia!

What an amazing experience. Daniel was very pleasant, extremely knowledgable (seeing as he’s from Valencia) and his skills as a Chef made us feel as if we’ve been doing this for years. The facilities and kitchen were very nice. If you can book the early timeframe I would suggest it so that you can walk through the alleys on your way to the market with him to pick up some of the produce for your paella. At the facilities, Pau was waiting for us with our ‘Welcome’ cava. He then continued to speak and introduce us to the wines we would be tasting during our experience as well as some tapas. Daniel and Pau worked in tandem like a well oiled machine and you’d be missing out on one of the best Valencia experiences if you book anywhere else. Muchisimas gracias a los dos y hasta la proxima 10/10.

Fun engaging activity for family with adult children. The host was enthusiastic and charismatic. We didn’t understand everything he said, but who cared? Wine generously flowed, and we enjoyed learning more about the history of paellas and its traditions, and making our own. We had an interesting group representing several countries in our paella class.

We had a paella class with a group of friends and their kids aged 9-13 and had an incredible time. The class was interactive and fun for all ages, providing a history of paella and what makes it special in Valencia. There were snacks and drinks throughout the experience and everyone was given equal and engaging attention. Maybe most importantly, the paella in the end was fantastic!

Juan and Amber were amazing hosts! We learned so much about the origins of paella and then this hands on experience taught us how to cook it! Eating our product at the end with the wine was a fantastic way to finish the class. It was fun, interactive and overall one of the most memorable experiences we have had in Spain!

Great experience! Got to go to the central market and walk around a bit. I was paired up with another solo person and we hit it off. Everyone in my group was awesome! Learned a lot of little things I wouldn’t have thought of to do when making paella. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic!! Highlight of our trip! Victor was AMAZING! Very organized, personable and knowledgeable! Market was closed so Victor gave a short tour of the area recommending many eateries! I’d do this one again! Fun! fun! Fun! We had a great group of people from around the world and after cooking, we ate our paella family style. And by the way, our paella was delicious! A lot of walking to the market and then back to class. Market was interesting and we bought supplies for class fresh . Megan the teacher was delightful. We were offered numerous different drinks during the class and some yummy appetizers. We sat down at end and ate what we had cooked. It was delicious. Would recommend this class!
