This was so much fun! My daughters, father, and I really had a blast doing this activity. We got to dress up, learn some samurai moves, and film a scene! We left with great pics and smiles on our faces!

Best samurai experience, they give us quick lesson about basic, after we played small samurai role where we could rec clips and take pictures. Very nice atmosphere they let me feel like real samurai! Nice and kind stuff with funny accents we could laugh a bit. Fantastic!! Thank you !! Me and my family very satisfied:)

This was a really fun (and funny) hour long activity. We came across it randomly while trying to figure out what to do on our last night in Tokyo--the second rainy night in a row. This was more fun and entertaining than we were expecting! I attended as a +1 for free while someone else did the experience. I would highly recommend it.

Amazing experience. Highly recommend! Really nice and attentive staff. All speak English and are very accommodating. They dress you in traditional kimono and pants and allow you to take your time taking pictures and enjoying the outfit and experience. Not rushed at all. Very fun and entertaining for everyone. All staff very funny and truly great. Allow yourself more than one hour to dress and take pictures. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We were a bit weary on this one as we didn't want to travel out were we weren't staying and also were pretty exhausted from prior activities. But it was worth every penny and effort. When we first got there, we went straight in to a room were we chose what kimono we wanted to wear. They helped dress us and we felt pretty cool after. They take lots of videos and photos on your phone for you, so make sure it has charge and storage. We ran through some basic manoeuvres before pulling a whole scene together. And the girl explaining it was funny, I think you have to be there for it to be funny, but she kept saying so casually 'or you die'. They were all very enthusiastic and kept your attention. You will laugh, feel nervous, and enjoy your time while you are there.

This was one of the best experiences we had during our trip! My children said if I had told them it was a theatre, they wouldn't have gone but were so glad they did! The performers were wonderful, we learned a lot and had so much fun. I would recommend it to others.

This was definitely a highlight of the trip to Tokyo! The staff were funny and kind and they set up our phones so we had videos and pictures of the whole learning process! There were also so many kimonos to choose from and I loved to dress the part of a samurai master. Definitely do this if you’re in Tokyo!!

Oh my, words can not explain how awesome this was!!!! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt like family. We did nothing but laugh all the time. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve done in my 3 years of coming to Japan!!!! 100% recommend doing this. Our group even had young children in it and they got up and had a blast. The Samurai Theater was a great time for all of us! Our ages range from 76 to 3 years old, and each and every one had a great time. We learned about Samurai fighting techniques and participated in various fighting sequences. The traditional dress was first rate, and dressing up made the experience all the better. A short but extremely fun experience. You get to pick your own samurai clothing and practice the various sword techniques. At the end, you can do a fight choreography with the staff and record it. Excellent value as part of a trip for anyone interested in martial arts or Japanese theater.
