Absolutely amazing experience and friendly instructors. The team makes you wear kimono and get you ready, followed by teaching you various techniques used in samurai fighting. My son enjoyed it and was icing on the cake moment before we travel back home. A must with family, kudos to the team Samurai Theatre Tokyo .

Oh my, words can not explain how awesome this was!!!! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt like family. We did nothing but laugh all the time. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve done in my 3 years of coming to Japan!!!! 100% recommend doing this. Our group even had young children in it and they got up and had a blast. So much fun

The Samurai Theater was a great time for all of us! Our ages range from 76 to 3 years old, and each and every one had a great time. We learned about Samurai fighting techniques and participated in various fighting sequences. The traditional dress was first rate, and dressing up made the experience all the better. A short but extremely fun experience. You get to pick your own samurai clothing and practice the various sword techniques. At the end, you can do a fight choreography with the staff and record it. Excellent value as part of a trip for anyone interested in martial arts or Japanese theater.

We had such an unexpectedly amazing experience. Didn’t know what to expect going in, and came out with so much laughter and fun! The staff was so kind and friendly. They took several pictures and videos of us. The actual class was educational but fun at the same time. We chose the last slot of the day and it was basically a private class for us!

Interactive, fun experience. It is about an hour. You dress in traditional clothes over your own. They take videos and pictures for you and prepare you for your very own theatrical fight scene after you learn basic maneuvers and safety. It was a blast!

This was an amazing and fun experience. My fiancé and I love samurai and anime. This gave us a chance to dress up, see the samurai outfits, and actually learn a few key moves. They really teach you here. They also did a video skit for each one of us with our own background music and sound effects. The senseis were nice and friendly. They were fun and took photos and videos with us. Highly recommend. Worth the money. We also explored the area a bit before and after the session. The neighborhood that this is located is a nice quieter neighborhood with quite a few shops and bakeries.
