After doing a guided bike tour earlier in my trip, I really loved how easy the city was to cycle around. So I decided to hire a bike for myself for the day. When I went to pick up the bike, the woman there was quite rude and dismissive of me. Apparently they had a different hire day down than what I had booked so they weren’t ready for me. They just gave me the closest bike and said here you go. The brakes were not great and bike wasn’t in greatest condition. When I went to return it at the end of the day there was a different person who was much nicer.
